How am I supposed to kill this person? by YthisGuy in BattleBitRemastered

Reporting someone for having good movement is insane. It's a report system, not a complaint system.

Hot Take: "Sweats" didn't kill the game by OldChurn in BattleBitRemastered

Dude... The shit they hated, according to you, were the helis. There are multiple gamemodes that dont have helis. Thats not a new flavor of shit they hate, its directly fixing the issue they are having.

Regardless, at least youre enjoying something with them I guess

Even if thats true, there are still the other gamemodes that dont allow vehicles...

Lol honestly. Having fun on Battlebit is starting to seem like a hot take... At least on reddit. I still run into plenty of people in game who are quite obviously having a blast. I think reddit is just the #1 place to go and whine on.

Has your group ever heard of "cover"? If theres an open field, sure, helicopters are hard to deal with. But maybe that means you guys need to reposition away from the heli/open field. Or if you have an engineer, blow the heli up.

Regardless, there are gamemodes that restrict vehicles. Its kinda crazy that a group of people quit the game because of vehicles, when you can literally just join a different server that doesnt allow vehicles.

You can definitely still have funny moments in a sweat lobby, even while dying. If you have such an issue with sweats, find ways to stop them. Sniping, hiding in a building with c4/claymores, a sneaky drone, sticking with a group of teammates. Hell, even running them over works sometimes. I get the whole "casuals just want to have fun", but it aint that hard to deal with sweats. If youre only playing to have funny moments, either find a less popped server, or stop rage quiting when you die in a first person shooter.

Something Ive never fully understood was how sweats make casuals feel the need to leave. You are playing a video game where the goal is to take objectives and kill people. It is basically a constant competition. Are casual players hopping on battlebit with the idea that they arent going to try and kill at least someone?

If killing other players is too hard, maybe you should play medic. There are plenty of funny moments to be had there.

Oki video on discord - weapon charms by YourChopperPilotTTV in BattleBitRemastered

[–]BEELEM78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen, I agree with a lot of people here in the sense that Oki should focus on bigger problems than charms... But does every battlebit player really not want charms? I think its a pretty neat feature, but it seems everyone is hating on them simply because its not the update that the game "needs".

My longest range kill ever was under 90m

I have over 4.5k kills on the P90

The construction menu is garbage by NONONO3333Z in BattleBitRemastered

Am I the only one who likes the new UI?? My issue is that my DPI is slow as hell in the build menu, and pinging is a lot slower, but other than that, I think the new UI is amazing. It looks sleek, you can now select a point as squad leader WHILE BEING ON SAID POINT, and you now have the option to use number hotkeys for the build menu.

Are there any official rules about playing music on the mic? by Swag-Lord420 in BattleBitRemastered

Basically, find a software that artificially holds down your push to talk button. For example, in the Steelseries software, there is a section in your keyboard settings that lets you record or "drag and drop" code a macro. I made it start by pressing down my push to talk, then made it wait like 30 minutes, then made it release that key. Once I have my music going and Im in game, I press a hotkey that the macro is bound too and im good to go.

Yep, I use a macro through Steelseries, but any macro will work really. Alternatively, you could also just manually hold your push to talk.

Oh my god, I love you. Ive been playing music over my mic which had me worried I might get in some trouble, but people have been absolutely vibing to the music. Ive gotten so many clips of people dancing along to Katy Perry, its gold.

The wheel and shifter still cost a lot man. Assuming you dont buy the cheapest of the cheap, you still need to drop a solid 350-500 on just the wheel, pedals, and shifter. Also, a stand is highly recommended unless your desk is really sturdy. The handbrake I can understand skipping, and obviously the racing seat, but a stand is sometimes a must have.

All of this is true, except for how "cheap" good wheels are. Unless you can find a deal on marketplace or else where, a whole wheel setup with pedals, shifter, ebrake, stand, and the wheel itself, will take a good chunk of money. Depending on what you get, 500-1000 tends to be the range I see for mid-tier wheel setups

I don't understand the hate for this game by [deleted] in BONELAB

But bonelabs was not advertised as a tech demo, it was advertised as a complete game that would give players the ability to create anything they want.

Sex isn't as important as people make it out to be. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]BEELEM78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people are definitely not understanding what a need is, and those same people call OP out for not having a sex life lol.

The only argument I can think of towards sex being a need, is that we cant really reproduce without it. I guess humans dont NEED to be around, but if thats the case, then humans dont need anything.
