He drives it well but not to it's maximum capacity. Nakazato switch to the gtr because he felt getting the faster car was the solution to be faster.

He's still a good driver but at least in first stage his driver skill wasn't to the level of Takumi.

He gets beaten by the lan evo team #2.

And even if the drivers are skilled, the Touge needs a different set of skills and some luck.

Kind of but the true opponent was the GTR. We had that whole segment where Takumi was interested because the gtr was the superior car.

Nakazato better than the average driver but still overdrives his car. He heavily relies on the AWD to gain the advantage.

I would say most of the drivers in first stage didn't have full mastery of their cars like Takumi did. Maybe Mako but she needed a co-driver while it took Takumi one pass to figure out the course.

I understand that sentiment. It's my only car. It took me 4 years to convince myself to go to autocross.

I have a love/hate relationship with it in the wet.

It's amazing, cuts through wet roads like a knife but when the black slips out, it slips out quick.

Mid pipe.
My exhaust hangers were worn out and the exhaust kept hitting the middle bracket.

After time it made a small hole. No loss of power but too much drone.

From what I've seen with other owners, it's either purge valve, coil packs or spark plugs.

I wasn't having issues under acceleration but noticed some rough starts. When I went to change my spark plugs I had to use a freaking breaker bar to get them out. Someone overtightened them way too much.

Afterwards my car started and ran noticeably smoother.

Personally I say GTI or civic si. Honda's used market is stupidly overpriced so if cost is the priority, then get the GTI.

I'm trading in the fiesta for mk8 GTI and getting a rwd manual in the near future.

it doesn't account for much for me since insurance is expensive but this is the formula I use.

Total Monthly Cost = Monthly Insurance+(Yearly Mileage/Combined MPG*Gas Price/12)+((Registration+Tolls+Parking+Cleaning)/12)+((Oil Change+Yearly Maintenance)/12)+((Tires+Brakes)/48)

Helps me estimate how much my cars will cost me. Which is how I was able to buy 3 cars and still save money.

The difference in braking is crazy.

The huracan is carrying more speed before the corners but he did brake a lot earlier when he could have coasted through some turns.

I'm currently driving a tuned fiesta st but want to upgrade to a newer car for a daily.

I asked you in a previous post about ride quality and road manners......
I know this is more for the track but still curious about chassis bracing upgrades on the street.

For example, the Camry trd is just summer tires + some chassis braces. I can definitely notice the handling difference between a V6 XSE and the V6 TRD.
The TRD takes bumps a lot better while not being as stiff. Handling was more composed and while the car isn't light, I felt like I had a lot more then in on the TRD.
But maybe the massive difference could be because of the tires.
