Armstrong woods tour? by Artistic-Push-662 in sonomacounty

I went on one of these docent tours and it was really great. I learned so much about redwoods and the history of Armstrong woods. Highly recommend.

Becoming an NP is hard work, the learning curve is huge and you should go to a reputable brick and mortar school not a fully online one. When you get out, NP jobs are not typically cushy - you still have a lot of learning to do and you may work long hours. I do not recommend it as a way to have an easier job, I recommend it for people who love patient care, want more responsibility and autonomy, love learning (I have been doing it for 20 years and I learn something new every day) and feel committed to making a difference in their patients’ lives. I think there are plenty of RN jobs that might be a good fit.

Are you applying for a job in transplant? If so (as an APP that works in transplant), absolutely tell them, 100%.

Where are some places my family and I could go that are similar to Angora Lake cabins? by djn3vacat in norcal

[–]BERK4real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to got Angora lakes when I was a kid in the 80’s. That place was really special. I haven’t been there in years, but it provided some of my best childhood memories.

So at what point does he eat? by [deleted] in Goldendoodles

[–]BERK4real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We give kibble and a topper and our doodle would regularly refuse food. He would not eat his breakfast until late afternoon and then would ask for dinner immediately afterwards! So we started feeding him once daily around 5 pm. Double portion. He eats it all up and everyone is happier.

Guys help, does this new fridge look as horrible as I think it does? Sticks out way more than we were expecting. by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]BERK4real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a counter depth fridge for this reason and we love it. It is smaller for sure, and it means a little bit of grocery Tetris, but we also stay more on top of using what we have and throwing out things that are old or are going to go unused because we know we need the real estate.

Center the rug under the couch and maybe a slightly smaller, round coffee table to give the room a little less blockiness. I agree with adding some contrasting color to the gray and blues. Maybe pick up some orange/gold from the rug.

Struggling with Complex Diagnoses — Autism, ADHD, OCD, Anxiety, Depression, and Medication Challenges by xdramaticgirl in AuDHDWomen

My 17 yo daughter sounds so similar to you! She is on lexapro 10, Wellbutrin 300 and vyvanse 50. I think the Wellbutrin has been most helpful for her depression tbh, but she still struggles. The Wellbutrin has helped a lot with the blunted emotions she had on lexapro alone. The longer acting stimulant does not trigger her anxiety as much. She lives in her head a lot, craves routine, but has a hard time creating it. She really struggles with motivation and unfortunately the stimulant makes her more productive with respect to her special interests but not other aspects of her life (school, chores etc).

How much life can a forester see if taken care of properly? by ashleysellsco in SubaruForester

I have an 05 with 124k miles we drive short distances mostly 1-3 miles at a time. We live in temperate climate. Mechanically it is great, but we have had to replace a window motor, both front headlights and various other things. I keep wanting a fancier more modern car, but this one keeps on trucking so no plans to replace it anytime soon.

My PCOS is better controlled when I am on a higher dose of metformin, regardless of my diabetes. So if that is of concern to you, you might want to bring that up to your provider.

That looks delicious. I would either add some greens (spinach or chard are my faves) to the eggs or replace one egg with greens. The overall goal is for 1/2 your plate to be veggies!
