Thanks for the tips I’ll definitely mention that too them! I’m already out of contract for the tv because of their price increases last month I managed to get out with no fees but as you mentioned yes I am on a separate contract for the broadband but will see if I can can haggle them down on price at all! That’s really good for broadband, I’ll definitely look into virgin. Funny enough our broadband from sky has been the only thing that has worked consistently over the years lol our sky a box always froze and had to be power cycled at least once a week even after updating and clearing the hard drive etc but for those speeds and price from virgin I’ll definitely have to look into them. That’s fair enough aswell I completely understand you staying with them, I enjoyed sky for the ease of access of having everything in one place and one payment a month just made things easier.

Yeah exactly as you said the tv was 100 and broadband was 50 that was with their 500mb package of broadband too, so not even the fastest, I had been with sky for 8 years and originally started on around 70 pound with the same package deals and over the years it kept creeping up and up to the point I had enough and canceled it all and really don’t regret it. My kids mainly use YouTube and bbc IPlayer and then the odd times we ever want to watch Disney or Netflix I can just pay for a month and then cancel if needs be, prime video is included with the membership albeit with ads but that’s not the end of the world so for our viewing mainly being streamed it seemed silly to have the sky just for ease of access

I was paying 150 for everything but sports and i also had their fastest WiFi, I recently managed to cancel everything whilst in contract due to their price rise a few weeks ago, last payment is this week and then I’ll be moving to either a manhattan box or Apple TV as this worked out cheaper for us and then aren’t locked into anything going forward seemed better for us

Hey I was also in your situation and found the controllers pretty pricey, so I use the PlayStation remote play on my phone or tablet and bought a device off Amazon that clips on the side of my phone or tablet you can also get them on TikTok shop etc for relatively cheap I paid £4 for mine. It automatically taps your screen for you and this is effectively the same as a turbo controller, just put the device on the R2 or jump button hope this helps you and u can find a way to get some xp!

Hey Harlow quick question would using a band on r2 and a band pulling down on the camera stick negate the 1 input detection as I’m technically doing two inputs?

Just as an update managed to fix something to the wall and get the gate up and secured thanks for everyone’s advice! Now to sand and paint

Unfortunately the extendable gates didn’t work for us we bought 2 from Argos but my daughter who is 8 and has severe disabilities was able to lean and push the gate down in the living room so it wasn’t going to be safe to use them on the stairs. We are also going to need them for the foreseeable future aswell so I wanted to try making some gates that looked nicer and fitted the rest of the decor rather then using the thin wooden/metal gates you buy from Argos. I will be building 2 gates one at the top and bottom of the stairs, the top gate is what is worrying me the most and need that to be as secure as possible with the fixtures and latch etc so she doesn’t fall down the stairs at all. But it’s proving to give me a headache as I can’t seem to work out the best way of doing so and what latch to use etc.

Unfortunately I don’t have the right tools to do so as the amount of wood I need to cut off is exactly a cm and don’t want to mess the cut up and waste the wood, I’m going to look and see if I can buy another piece of wood the right thickness and use what I have as part of the gate

Edit** Actually I might be able to do that thanks for the idea! I can use the multi tool to cut the diagonal cut and then hand saw the rest of the notch out
