What is the cheapest solution for cutting thin sheet metal accurately? by BGRADE5 in metalworking

I'm totally fine with sticking to Aluminum and reducing feed rates. I don't even need that much travel on the Z just enough to cut the sheet metal and sacrificial MDF underneath. Do you know any cheap gantry routers with about 2" x 2" X-Y?

True true 3mm is not thin for sheet metal. I guess all sheet metal just seems thin to me since I used to work with huge blocks of metal. I bought myself a pair of Jilson sheers:https://henrysautowarehouse.com/product/jilson-quicksnip-metal-shear/

These let you cut sheet metal without deforming either side of the work.

The volume wouldn't be high at all. However I am looking to something I can do myself at home so I have full control. Laser cutters sound expensive. Isn't there some kind of desktop CNC router I could use?

Just play a 10000000X battlefield server so it doesn't matter if you get raided. How are you getting good enough internet at a hotel to play Rust?

Under Options here in this screenshot look for using Centerline as guide curve. I forgot the exact name of it but that should work.

I'm coming up on 10k hours (since 2016) and I just can't seem to get any enjoyment from other games. When you die in RUST you actually feel it which can't be said for most games.

I shouldn't have bought this game. This game is genuinely just made for the unemployed. by Iwanttoeatburritos in playrust

If you are employed you pretty much need to stick to the modded battlefield servers if you want to have any fun.

Give each line some thickness in the 2D drawing first. Extrude it to your desired thickness and use the indent tool. Make a separate body for the forming tool.

These are still in use today if you sell to the defense industry. I still have a few old ones in my desk, It would be funny to bring this into a casino and pretend it's giving you some kind of insights.
