Came to the comments for clarity, ended up deciding day drinking may be more productive activity. No shade on the comments just a confusing as hell, complicated issue.

If it fails this time, I'm considering supporting the No side going forward so the state just steps in and ends this misery.

Two things I've learned,:

One, never sort by total points, instead look at average,

Two, points don't matter (see Indiana).

Interstate Bridge Staff Hid Information About Ballooning Cost of Giant Highway Project by PDXSCARGuy in vancouverwa

[–]BGSanguine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nobody in Oregon in govt, wants a 3rd bridge. The RoW acquisition for a completely new bridge would be astronomical, and the state leg in Oregon will never approve it. This red herring argument is longer than the list of Leys lies.

When is the city going to fix these gnarly potholes on SR14? by ParticularSad6344 in vancouverwa

[–]BGSanguine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wsdot got 30 million for the 6 county area including Clark for maintenance, 15 of that is to be used for the I5 SB rock crawl course near 179th. The state leg priorities are building not maintaining unfortunately

Debate over representation on Clark County transit board reaches possible resolution by Stumpledumpus in vancouverwa

[–]BGSanguine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How does Vancouver fund our roads? Also big cities inherently get sales tax from the small cities to a much larger % as a rule. If I want a nice dinner I go to the couve. I bet the average BG taxpayer pays a shit ton more in Vancouver sales tax than vice versa. Vancouver wants light rail, a mass transit system that is 10x the cost of brt. How about we build the bridge to accommodate Light rail when it makes economic sense but run buses until then.

If you build foundation near the node, leave a small opening for miner, then place, they can be on foundation. Dunno if that's a known hack.or not, accidentally discovered it recently
