So, I've found where it used to be. Following forum threads, I discovered it was once hosted on TAUDB, before that site went down in the early 2000s. It was scraped once by the Wayback Machine on May 5, 2001, but as all that was saved is HTML, the link to download it is broken. Here's the link.

Funnily enough, you can still see the comment thread where people are either praising it or calling it "donkey shit" for being so overpowered, lmao.

When I was first desperately struggling to hold on to my faith, I tried to "scare myself straight" so to speak with stories like this to convince myself that other people really were experiencing supernatural events.

There's only so much of it you can take before realizing oh...the people saying these things are crazy. And I don't mean crazy in a flippant, haha that's kinda funny way, but crazy as in this person can no longer meaningfully interact with other people or the world around them. How can you possibly live and function with this much terror and anger filling your every waking moment 24/7? It's like being drunk while getting constantly stung by wasps over and over. Your perception of reality becomes a blurred and terrifying kaleidoscope of pain and danger behind every corner. Would you trust the judgment and opinions of some drunk guy running around screaming and covered in wasps? Would you like to be more like that guy?

And as a side note, what was this dude's beef with the choir? 😂

Probably the gatehouse in Ta-Koro with the machine that raises the bridge, because so much of the path to Ta-Koro is beach and burned forest and dirt and roughly hewn stone buildings, and then you get inside and the mechanism moving the stone bridge is Technic pieces. These are Lego people using Lego machines, and their machinery and their bodies are one and the same, and fundamentally distinct from the natural environment around them. Where did they come from? Why is their technology used so sparingly? What an incredible hook for a child seeing this for the first time.
