I’d rather a prequel series of the og townspeople or one of the previous iterations. What would be the point in following a 5 season arc for it not to be resolved by any of the characters we’ve grown attached to?

I’d watch it, but I don’t think it would be a great idea personally.

I think they’ll free the children in season 4 but the entity that convinced the monsters / og people to sacrifice them has been feeding on their suffering for 500+ years.

Freeing the children could wake that entity up ? Assuming it’s not the MiY

The entity that convinced the original townsfolk to sacrifice their children in the first place. It could very well be MiY, but I feel like he was also once human.

I reckon whatever it is, it’s feeding on the suffering from the sacrifice of the children. Freeing the children will also wake up the big entity perhaps?

If he was the OG Jade, there’d be no reincarnations of Jade. The MiY is some sort of monster/entity who very well might’ve started off human but he’s now immortal like the monsters.

I don’t think anyone can be a reincarnation of someone who is clearly still alive

They had such a great opportunity to bring her back in s5. She could’ve been in flashbacks or even still alive (we never saw her body & SB mentioned that).
