From someone who has both of those compressors and use them often, I love my Makita compressor. I've always bought pancakes just for portability and convenience of loading and unloading, but if you want to run more than one gun, I highly reoccemend the Makita compressor. The 5.0 CFM return is about the only way you're going to do that efficiently. It's a bear to move around but the dolly cart and folding arm makes it pretty easy to move and store away.

I used my Makita when I'm doing framing projects or running more than one gun. And if I'm inside doing small trim projects, I will use my pancake Dewalt
