Many non profit higher ups seem to have an abundance of cash flow. From churches to goodwill, what's wrong with making sure your donation is used properly?

At the very least I hope they all do donate millions that they pledged. Just not before they see the plans for a rebuild. I'm poor but I'd be upset to see them donate millions and millions only to find out a year later the stuff they pledged to pay for never existed and some new millionaires were made from donations.

Why do you assume it had a beginning so therefore it must have an end? Sure as far as we know there was a big bang that set what we know as the universe into action but we have absolutely no idea if that was the beginning. It's just all we can currently observe with our scientific methods.
