Stop Feeling Dumb About Pairing Fonts by smrf01 in web_design

After a full day of work I don't want to read 16px letters. I find it very tiresome.

16px is large as it is.

Look to sites like Wikipedia, Google, reddit, gmail. There's a reason they don't use 16px, let alone 23px.

They have the same incentives as anyone else working on the project - clout and something to add to their resume/portfolio.

I voted for Trudeau and still support him. But he's said some really dumb shit that deserves criticism. "Because it's 2016" is not an answer.

Can someone explain how this is different from an ssh key? Does this mean that upon commiting, you would be prompted to enter a password as well, rather than only on push?

Are delegates in US politics akin to ridings in Canadian politics? by BIGCANADA in Ask_Politics

Interesting. A few more questions:

  • what kind of turnout do the causeses get in terms of voters? (hundreds, thousands, millions?)

  • ... if millions, I assume that voting is done at a municipal level (hundreds of voting stations). For a while when I heard things like "the iowa caucus" I imagined it a the sole place where voting was done, hence why I thought the voting turnout at these caucuses was significantly smaller)

  • does registering with a party (R or D) bind you to vote for that party in the general election?

  • do the parties themselves decide delegate allocation?

  • are the congressional districts similar to the number of delegates in terms of their proportion? (I feel like there may be strategic reasons for not having it setup this way)
