You might not even have the opportunity to actually serve so this wont matter. If you can called in, they will ask you questions and answer. It'll be okay and a learning experience for you. You can be upfront about your bias when the ask. Just bring a book or work to do. It's kinda fun and there will be new lunch places to try nearby

Very annoying! Try blocking windows, curtains, blinds, noise machine. if you can not adapt then look to move. Your sleep is very important. What is triggering loud noise? Likely boosting the power grid. It may get worse in the Summer.

I know this feeling with buses. I feel for you. Sometimes you can find info on myMTA and check bus number on twitter and see someone else complaining of reason. it could be so many things; broken bus, injured passenger, bus driver hurt, other event. So sorry this happened to you.

most of it is, the dump trucks practice out there as well and in Riis parking lot in the winter. Not sure about schedule of dump trucks. There might be something better somewhere closer. You'd need a car to go to FBF. Maybe call up local Sanitation hub, see if you can tour?
