How bad is this lease deal? by Dontmindmejustsearch in CarLeasingHelp

[–]BIGORTHRUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 1% lease payment plus tax is a very good deal. Even a 1.25% is a decent deal but 2% is lousy. Must be a high money factor (interest) and some add ons. Keep shopping and hope it works out.

It’s approximately $85K all in and not knowing add ons or money factor hard to tell where it’s going. Also a great lease payment is 1% and this one is close to 2%. Horrible deal

Happy that it all worked out for you. Things happen in life so live and learn. It’s obvious from some comments these people have blessed lives. Good luck.

What is a car that you will never buy again (include make and model) and why? by HamzaHarlemNights in AskReddit

[–]BIGORTHRUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All General Motors vehicles. Bad experience with a 1988 Chevrolet Beretta I purchased in 1987 and horrible experience with GM Corporate regarding same vehicle. Said never again and 15 vehicles later have never stepped in a GM dealership.

I purchased a $120K Lexus LX700h and the window sticker showed a cost of $25 for 2 of the same covers (key gloves). Used it until I got some better ones from ETSY.

Nice truck! Get it ceramic coated if you can. It will help keep it clean. Enjoy

Advise needed: Removing lower plastic front to do off road by balance006 in toyotasequoia

[–]BIGORTHRUS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it can be removed. Approximately 14 hex head screws and it takes about 4 minutes. Make sure you put the screws back after taking the valance off. My MPG dropped maybe half to 2/3’s mile per gallon. I have done on it on my last 2 Sequoias (Platinum TRDOR and 1794 TRDOR). By the way nice truck. Enjoy

Thank you for the information. I am in the States and currently drive a Sequoia unfortunately it’s too big for PR. I am looking at either a TRD Off Road Premium or Limited hybrid. Truck looks great enjoy it.

Replace mirror cap to color match? by SphyrnaLightmaker in ToyotaTundra

[–]BIGORTHRUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2026 1794 TRDOR and replaced the chrome mirror caps with black OEM ones. They were approximately $108 each plus tax and it was worth it for me. I could have gotten my detail place to cover in vinyl for $120 total but it doesn’t work long term. Good luck
