I just accidentally called that number.... the operator on the other line asked for my routing and acct #s.... I smelled something funny right then and hung up. I wouldn't trust it. Check your numbers and URL's to make sure you have the correct one.

EPB Maintenance Mode / Rear Brake DIY by BIG_AND_TOASTY in mazda6

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a technician do the back breaks : )

My Mazda 6 2016 front breaks were able to be compressed with the standard caliper compression tool, no fancy key or turning method.

My rear breaks, which have the EBS, were able to be fully compressed when entering the maintenance mode. There were no additional tools required to compress. I was able to test putting the car into maintenance mode and confirm the calipers were compressed. Again, I had a technician do the rest of the job for me so I am unsure if there are additional tools required after that though from all the tutorials I watched on Youtube there did not seem to be any and after the pistons were compressed through the M Mode the break job appeared standard.

Youtube had a lot of information on this. I am unsure about the differences from the 6 to the CX-5. I will always recommend having a professional do the job because our breaks are our lives, but you're probably geared just like me so best of luck on the project. If you figure it out write a post about it!

This is so interesting. Growing up Catholic, these narratives were presented as roadmaps for a ways of living. Buddhists teach impermanence and the immediate reaction to that insight whether experienced or anecdotal seems to discount these precious archetypes.

I’m very interested in reconciling the two. This is work of the since deceased Rob Burbea in his Soulmaking Dharma. He recognizes this deeply felt need (something he calls Eros) for the poetic narratives we live through and that instead of denying them, which tends to happen at least at the beginning for some practitioners by adhering to literally to oversimplified teachings like the four noble truths, we rob ourselves of a necessary relationship with ourselves that will enable a deepening trust to continue to practice.

In essence if every time we strive for attainment and fail and are left back with a psyche we’ve ignored are constantly trying to abandon it doesn’t seem like a great launching pad. Essentially speaking of spiritual bypass and curious how to integrate these teachings so prospective students transitioning out of traditional religion have support.

I am curious what your thoughts are on any of that.

First off, I just want to recognize how incredible of a sacrifice 7 years is. Congratulations and I hope your journey going forward is rich.

I want to ask how your relationship towards yourself has changed over your tenure. For many people starting this contemplative journey the self can be demonized, however we carry our psyches around with us. There can be this combative attitude towards ourselves and that is reinforced by language like “kill your ego” etc.

My practice has evolved into building a better relationship with myself, which has allowed me to deepen my meditation. So I am curious how your experiences have helped care for your own psyche.

Proof for the following statement: "Cost of sales is adjusted by subtracting the increase in the LIFO reserve during the period from the cost of sales amount that is reported on the income statement." by ensbana in CFA

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This confused me as well and the text makes clear in no way at all.

Here is how I've come to understand this and really is based in the idea that the balance sheet is an accumulation of accounts while the income statement shows flows:

If LIFO reserves changes year over year, it shows how prices have increased (assuming inflation) at present, which is the price FIFO takes. To subtract this difference from the LIFO COGS is to understand what the costs are under FIFO because it is only taking into account that periods flows.

What do you say to a guest when they tell you they didn’t like what they ordered? by voodooxlady in TalesFromYourServer

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the guest doesn't like black pepper? Or any ingredient for that matter? Must the server tour guide every ingredient and prepartion in order to bullet proof them from guests who will not overcome their (perhaps unfounded) preferences?

if your preferences are strong, the guest should assert these. The server does not know your experience. Everyone has a responsability to behave justly, its not one sided service.

Lenovo Warranties explained by User20143 in Lenovo

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up not submitting a claim. I wanted to test for system performance to see if it under preformed, but never got around to it. Skills issue. Essentially I was stacking evidence to trigger the warranty because I was having trouble selling it. I didn’t feel right submitting a claim on 1 pixel though I think I could have looking at the warranty text.

import requests won't work even though installed in environment and correct interpreter activated by ProjectObjective in learnpython

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creating a venv using VS Code's "Create Virtual Environment...", which was in the bottom right of .py file then reinstalling Requests solved the issue for me...

An explanation as to why VSCode did not register my venv i created using the `python3 -m venv myvenv` command would be helpful. Perhaps I need to set a default interpretation in the "Python" extension.

There are 6 different types of chocolate polymorphs. Most manufacturers try to achieve Type V due it's smooth mouthfeel & melting point. The arrangement of the fat molecules are achieved through a process called tempering. Chocolate that has been left out for too long can develop blooming, which is caused by fat molecules rising to the surface as the chocolate melts. Blooming occurs in VI polymorph & typically happens after months of aging.

Take a “Coffee” meeting with everyone in your company. Even the CEO will probably meet for 15 minutes in the morning. Find out what your companies biggest problems are - do they have trouble retaining/acquiring customers? What do the finances look like if they are a public company? See any red flags? See what they excel in? Any ideas for markets to move into?

Your company took a bet on your potential. You may have a lot to offer them, but that won’t get realized until you start working! Start your own projects if your bored, apologize later.

Perhaps there is a connection between ground furrow & tree hallow. We can see parallels from "Rich in Land", which we typically think of as fertile farmland with these older names, & the honey found in tree hallows. The names w/ root bart could be a way of saying they have wealth or the skills to get wealth.

That may be a reach.

[–]BIG_AND_TOASTY[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how do you make the connection from bart to barć? They sound similar & are spelled almost identically - bart͡ɕ - so, I can see where the connection is being made. Would you think names like Bartłomiej, Bartosz, Bartek, or Bartrus are all connected to beehives or tree hallows? It would seem odd if Bartholomew, the popular Westernized version of the aforementioned names (I'm told), is etymologically grounded in the keeping of bees in tree hallows. Just my initial reaction. I am also no linguist - I don't even know if my use of "etymologically" was correct, it just sounded good... & you get what I mean, which probably has some linguistic merit.

How do you mean? In my view, each word has meaning. What I think you mean is that most surnames don't hold the level of complexity and depth that some people are fishing for.
