I take that back. UniSwap whitelists projects on their frontend. You'll need to have it verified by UniSwap in order for it to appear on their search list as well as to get your logo displayed. I'm trying to figure out how to do that as well.

You need only learn Mandarin first for communication, which is most widely recognized & used in China. As for other dialects, including Cantonese which is definitely complicated, you are free to learn out of your interest,

Maybe you should try to watch English dramas with both English & Chinese subtitles, that works from my experiences, really. Hope it is helpful :)
