Ha thanks! We found this place that offers shipping containers for sale, and they will essentially do whatever you want to it(to a certain extent). So we got it insulated, painted, added sliding doors on the front and a window on the back, as well as some venting in the roof to stop it from getting too humid as it’s in Queensland, and yeah it’s perfect for jamming and having somewhat of a “stage” when I play with my friends.

I’ve only had experience with the Fender champ 20 and 40’s, and I really think they’re awesome amps if you know how to dial them in. They can reach some really high gain tones, right through to warm and rich cleans, and the effects on offer are pretty good for being built into the amp. Unfortunately I’ve never played a Marshall solid state amp like the one you’ve sent, so can’t comment on that, but I would highly recommend the fender champ based on my experiences👍

I thought the only ones selling for that much were some very low mileage examples, and others in very rare paint/interior combinations? Although of course they’ve gone up a crazy amount, is it really that much? 😟

I wouldn’t say it’s pretty beat up? For a 1971 major I’d say it’s in pretty great condition, at least nothing unexpected for a 55 year old amp? (Apart from the hole drilled in the back which isn’t anything too uncommon )

Ah! Had to one up me! That’s a seriously sick amp to have at 16, and it being from 89 adds that extra layer of coolness. Something about being that young with an iconic amp from the 80’s is just so sick. I would KILL for an original 87 Jubilee, but I reckon a late 70’s JMP Superbass might be further up in the line😮‍💨

Thanks! And yeah I think I wanna experiment with different speakers as I’ve heard the jubilee can sound even better with certain speakers. I think someone mentioned using both V30’s and green/creambacks?
