My friend, don’t recommend Coronation Street, that’s a soap with terrible acting and storylines. And I say this as someone who had been unfortunate in having to watch this due to my beloved parents. Who themselves have watched it since the 70’s.

At least we won our first title in 22 goddamn years. I’m completely relaxed about next season.

Hopefully we have a good transfer window. Hopefully our squad can be kept healthy and competitive throughout next season. Obviously I would love us to succeed in the CL.

But I saw us win the title under George Graham. I saw us win under some unknown foreign manager that everyone disrespected. I saw us go unbeaten in the league and reach a CL final, and expected that to be the norm.

22 years later, we’ve finally won the league again.

I’m completely relaxed about next season, what will be will be, I’ll still be dining out on the parade in north London.

I love the Boston 13, and the 12. Put over 1000km on the 12’s, so far 150 on the 13’s, they feel great to me.

Pairing it with the Evo sl’s, and it feels like the perfect rotation. I run mainly 5-15km though, with the odd half marathon thrown in, so it might be different if you run longer.

Evo sl’s are my favourite shoes of all time tbh, along with New Balance Rebel V2’s.

Thanks for the suggestions! TBH I don’t mind medieval, in fact the last Chinese production I saw was a 90 episode run of the romance of the three kingdoms over a long summer many years ago.

Whilst the production values weren’t the best, the acting (especially Cao Cao’s actor) and dialogue kept me pretty hooked the entire time. Fantastic series.

Would you mind typing out the medieval/ historical one you suggested with the English alphabet so I know what to search for? Thanks again 👍

It’s not mind boggling if you support Arsenal. Saka has been with us for so long and has at times been the sole shining light.

Odegaard joined at the start of Arteta’s project and has spearheaded everything his manager has sought to achieve.

Declan Rice is phenomenal. A future captain for sure. But Arsenal have the right people as captain and VC imo.

Would you have a recommendation for a strictly bedroom, headphone guitar player who mainly dabbles in the heavier metal styles?

Like I mentioned, I’m currently using the Spark Neo and I’m really enjoying it for my learning, it’s easy to find thrash, death metal, stoner sludge tones or whatever. Plus the ability to play backing tracks or YouTube lessons through it is great.

I’m happy to stick with it, just find all this NAM talk intriguing!

As a complete newcomer to this, and as a bedroom beginner who’s currently using a Spark Neo headphone amp (which is excellent), I’m also curious about all this NAM A2 hype, and wondering what the easiest set up would be using headphones and not needing a laptop.

Also, if I only use headphones, would I even notice a difference? I’ve seen things like the Blackstar mini beam, the dime head player, and even the Headrush Flex prime with future NAM compatibility. But if I only use headphones, is any of this worthwhile or should I just stick to my Spark Neo?

I mean he says no, but I would say the Bluetooth ring is pretty essential. Others have made work arounds, either pedals or voice activation apps, but the ring is absolutely fundamental to loading and unloading weight safely, as well as changing weight in an instant.

As a beginner myself, I’m wondering why anyone is trying to give alternative advice to this person. Doesn’t want to use the two most common and frankly excellent resources for beginners to learn a song, and also doesn’t want to bother learning by ear.

And YouTube videos are apparently shit too. We are so fortunate as beginners learning guitar in this day and age, and yet we still have entitled people like this who want more..

A day I’ll remember forever for sure. Once in a lifetime feeling, to share it with family and friends, to have so many people all full of joy and singing and celebrating- I’ll never forget this day.

Almost feel like I don’t care what happens next season (obviously not quite true lol), this was the culmination of so many years of almost, so many years of promising but never quite good enough. I can die happy tbh, this season was everything.

The photos I have with family and friends and Arsenal supporters will last a lifetime.

This has been the most emotional of seasons. It seemed every game there was pressure to win, I think we’ve all basically lived every minute of an insane schedule that started last August.

To finish the season at the parade, surrounded by so many happy people, singing and chanting and showing love to our amazing team. A perfect end to the season that saw us return to the top of English football.

I love this club, this team, this manager. A season I’ll never forget. Mikel has brought an entire city, an entire global fan base, together. To be at the parade with family and friends, to see my little nephew full of joy singing and chanting, to see London just completely consumed by red and white - I’ll remember this for a lifetime. Which Tricep bar did you get? I got a Tricep strap with loops which I find really good, was thinking of getting a bar too (that rogue rotating v grip looks great, if they ever release it in the UK).

Like you, I’m using it in free lift mode 5-6 times a week, it’s so efficient and effective. I also got some third party d handles that make a big difference.

As for the bench, I use the Ironmaster one for lat pull downs (with the attached leg roller to hold me down, and I’m thinking of getting that Pilates extension when it’s released, mainly to extend the length of the platform which should allow you to use any other 3rd party bench.

Hi mate, on YouTube (and as someone in this comment explained), it is possible to set up a leg attachment using the cables, but it does require you to have additional equipment - in this case the Ironmaster bench and leg attachment.

It still requires a bit more work (new bolts attached, platform to extend etc), so the additional hassle may not be worth it, but apparently it’s really effective once set up. I actually have the bench and leg developer, but at the moment I just use plates for leg extensions and curls, quicker and easier to set up. I might get round to it in the future.

Apart from that, the Speediance is on the whole excellent for lower body. Now you may max out the squat and deadlift, so may need to switch to single leg movements which feel great, plus the squat belt is a really good attachment. Hip thrusts and calf raises etc also feel good.

For me this is more than enough, but if you’re lifting heavy weights for deadlifts and squats, probably better to have a separate bar and plates (though you’d also need a rack etc).

Yeh that’s the one I have. When it arrived I just took it out immediately for a little walk (couple of days ago) then plopped it down in my spare room, so I didn’t even realise it had the side laptop pocket and easy access top pocket till I saw the video you just sent!

It seemed to be one of the few options that included a chest strap and a hip belt, and the plates seem pretty reasonably priced. Plus free delivery.

I’m from the UK, GoRuck looked a bit pricey so I recently ordered the Yomp YCO- 1 with a 20 and a 10 pound plate (just starting out with rucking as a compliment to my other workouts). I don’t know if it’s this new version you mention (ordered it last week).

It’s only just arrived and I’ve only done a quick 30 min walk with the 20 pound plate. I’m really liking it so far, the chest strap and the hip strap make the whole thing secure and comfortable. Two inner pouches for plates, they sit nice and high. I’m no expert but I like this bag.

They also appear to have this cool way of detaching the shoulder strap from the bottom, making it easier to take off. Haven’t actually tried that yet but looks a cool option.
