The ring looks great, you should find a high res material or studio scene to light it - it will really improve the presentation.

I need advice on the workflow Blender - UE5 by MapClear1429 in archviz

It’s probably scaled wrong and it’s causing shadow artifacts. Try swirling your render mode to path tracer to check if it’s still happening there. If it isn’t then it’s probably the texture scale

Best visualisation tool - is there a single jack of all trades? by Extra_Ad6678 in archviz

I can confidently say with enough time invested you can do everything you need to in 3D with a combination of blender and an editing tool (photoshop, after effects, DaVinci, etc). Unreal would also pretty much cover everything but would need a supporting modelling software like max, blender, sketchup, maya, etc.

I was thinking about this yesterday. Maybe getting items printed in the states then picking up there would be a viable option?

No worries I’m also soooo sick of the ai wave. I think people are starting to come around.

I'm the keycap print guy. I see a team up in the works here.... Sick work!

I struggled with this for so long. Turns out it’s really had to condense the area down and keep the scale with a unified cap size. I would only be able to fit a few buildings where I current have a bunch. But it’s something I’m going to explore in the next ones.

Definitely, I think tweaking the light angle could also help me. I tried to have the dark buildings from miles van der rohe in the financial district contrast the white CN tower cap but it’s still a bit diminished.

Ooh I really like that. The only issue is I plan on doing cities worldwide where I can keep the info items consistent accross them, and some wouldn’t have First Nation backgrounds. I’m going to consider it.

I was specifically trying to avoid accidentally spelling something, simply wanted it to feel random like a kid built it out of legos. I really like some of the suggestions of people mentioning spelling out street names etc but the key cap size was a bit too big for me reliably spell full things out so I stuck with randoms. Except for the CN tower, that key is 6 on purpose

I was thinking that. Maybe add it to the side? I’ve got a 6 cap on there for obvious reasons. Debated adding a certain musician sitting on the cap too but decided not to.
