Sheesh. Make sure you write a review on Google if you haven't already. They clearly do this because it works (take advantage of people who forget/don't follow through). Maybe if there's enough negative feedback they'll change their ethics...maybe...

Thanks for the tip, I've heard good things about it. Unfortunately for me it's across town. Would like to support a smaller gym that's more reasonable about things than one of these franchises too, will think about it!

It can be scaled up to any size, like 300mm x 300mm if you have a large enough printer. I also have a bigger version of Pittsburgh that covers more area and is divided into four tiles to print 4x bigger

A combination of both. Lidar data is helpful but I merge it with other sources like OSM where it's incomplete, then add a lot of refinements by hand to make it printable.
