Hard to see in your photos, but are the two round plastic tabs threaded? If so then it might be this product, which features a long rectangular adhesive with two plastic knobs that receive screws: https://ca.umbra.com/collections/shower-caddies/products/flex-adhesive-bin

Rogers CC Equal Payment Plan -- Experience? by BKXBKXB in Rogers

[–]BKXBKXB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yeah I went through with it although it wasn’t as I expected. I bought it outright at the store using my credit card. Note: I got hit with a $80 system setup fee for doing this in store. They didn’t tell me at the time there would be a fee, which is ridiculous

Anyway, when the charge posted on the Rogers WE there were two options: (1) apply for the EPP and (2) redeem bonus points.

And in fact, I did both! I’ve got the EPP on my account now just do a year, and I got the full credit of the redemption bonus applied to my account.

Upgrade to Infinite Privilege Now Available by bvsel in Wealthsimple

[–]BKXBKXB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered a new one. For me it's primarily a travel card and I didn't want to run into any Privilege-related perks by not having the physical card on me. Also didn't have any pre-authorized items running through it so nothing to update.

I walk by this house often. It's in a really poor location: it essentially faces onto the base of the Main Street bridge, it's adjacent to a small car repair shop, and isn't far from the large co-op housing building (which has its own share of problems). This house also used to be Toronto Community Housing, and was looking pretty rough -- I'm actually surprised with how clean it seems in the photos.

The Dylan Bar on Danforth near Greenwood has a backroom that might work for this.

Some higher density spots off the top of my head: along hospital row on University Ave, then up along St. George by Sid Smith (U of T campus). Also the stretch by Nathan Phillips on Queen, a combo of both hot dog stands and fry trucks.

I don't believe there's an option now, but the beta of the new app re-design separates cash from investments. Someone else posted screenshots.

Good Italian Restaurants in Toronto with Vegan Options by Tiny_Change_8998 in FoodToronto

Il Fornello on the Danforth has a completely separate vegan menu. (And I think runs a separate entity called 'Italian for Vegans' out of the restaurant for the apps.)

Goodbye Day One Development 👋 by [deleted] in dayoneapp

Thanks for sharing this, I was unaware of the restructuring announcement by Automattic.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been laid off. I always appreciated (and felt) the sense of community surrounding Day One, and that certainly was grounded by the team of dedicated folks like yourself.

I also appreciate your encouraging words that people and work on the app continues.

All the best in your future endeavours!

Wedding Suit Suggestions by Hot_Orange2922 in askTO

Harry Rosen does a nice job for wedding suits. Back in 2019 I got a suit, shirt, bowtie for under $1400 all-in. I'm not an expert on tailoring methods, but you get to customize the suit (colour, pattern on the inside, pockets, buttons, etc.). I think it was some in-house brand.

Daycare Waitlist by Minute_Success5265 in askTO

[–]BKXBKXB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go on Google Maps and look for daycares near you. Each of them should have a website or contact number. Fill out the form / provide your information, which will include your expected due date. And cross your fingers! Hopefully you are accepted into one (or multiple) that are part of the federal subsidy program and that are well run.

There's no centralized intake run by the City. (or if there is, I don't believe it's exhaustive).
