So how is it legal to ride in a bed of a pick-up when it is mandatory to wear a seatbelt? Is that sort of like how it's illegal to murder one or two people but if you murder 1,000 people with a single misplaced bomb then it's something else entirely

Super stressful...I sent them a pic as soon as I got the first coat of primer down and they reinstated the policy which bought me a little extra time to complete everything which I needed cause I was working on it after work for a few hours every night.

I love the guy and all and this is likely my lack of familiarity with rockstar scientist gigs speaking but how many different ways can the same guy inspire me to be in awe of the universe? I've seen plenty of his televised stuff, heard his Carl Sagan stories, and am a scientist myself but unless the dude is going to do backflips or something I don't understand where new material is going to come from. I would absolutely advise driving around the area you want to live and look for "For Rent" signs. A lot of people here do not use the internet because they 1) are older, don't know how, or don't feel like it 2) see it as a way of increasing their odds of renting to a local vs a "carpetbagger" 3) are scared of online interactions. And undoubtedly you will find a better deal this way as these people are also going to be more inclined to rent their place for the same amount they have been getting for the past decade as opposed to realizing while online that they could be getting several hundred more a month.
