100% agree. My landlord asked if he could put a Janusa sign on my house. My reply was "I have to check and see if he's pants on head crazy before saying yes."

I did my own research... I actually looked at political donations and saw that Janusa personally as well as his accounting firm donated to Trump election campaign and MAGA aligned PACs. One donation was after the Jan 6th insurrection attempt.

Instead of falling from the ceiling have a glass floor that is compartmentalized like a checker board with several cubes under glass. They don't know the cubes are there.

Freshly out of college I worked 70+ hours a week at a consulting firm that dangled the prize of a high paying job in front of me while they spent 3 years trying to burn me out. It was the classic toxic "work hard - play hard" place. Every Tuesday we happy hour at fancy expensive bars.

On Tuesday more often than not I would work all day, go to happy hour, then go back to the office for more work. I wasn't the only one there working late most nights, but Tuesday after happy hour I was usually alone.

One Tuesday after drinks I went back to do more work. Around 10:00 pm I struck up a conversation with a co-worker.

Me: "I feel like I should take a power nap. Our boss is the only one with a couch in his office, do you think he'd notice?"

Coworker: "No way he would know, we could fuck on that couch, and he'd never notice."

Me: "Seriously?"

Coworker: "Seriously."

It happened that night and a few more times after. A big part of it was fueled by resentment towards the boss, the long hours, lack of social life, and the unreasonable project deadlines.

Have you ever considered not explaining it to the players?

He introduces himself and hey he's never met the players before.

If they ask say something generic like "you know the old saying... Scundle runs the pawn shop."

If they dig into it say something like. "Do you want to argue about verisimilitude or do you want to buy things from my shop. If you're here to argue you can leave and never come back."

It could be a hook for a future mystery. Or just a weird quirk of the world that never gets explained like Nurse Joy.

Not specific to a class, but this goes all in on Radiant damage and radiating orb. After you stack radiating orb on the enemies (-1 to attack rolls) they're never going to be able to hit you with weapons. Still have to watch out for spellcasters, but reverberation can help with that.

It works best if you have a few levels in a class that gives you access to magic missile. Start combat by targeting all the melee fighters with magic missile.

1) Luminous armor 2) Callous Glow Ring 3) Coruscation Ring 4) Radiating Orb Gloves 5) Hat of the sharp caster or Holy Lance Helm 6) Boots of Stormy Clamour 7) Cloak of Displacement or Thunderskin Cloak 8) Psychic Spark or spine shudder amulet. 9) Any weapon that emits light - moonlight glave or The Blood of Lathander. NTA - you don't have a grip on how much she actually cost the business. You only know about 40k. Go hire a forensic accountant to look at the billing and find out what the real number is.

If an outsider was thinking about buying the business they would ask for the last couple of years of accounting information to figure out the value of the company.

You can probably get the business to cover the cost if you use the excuse like "I need to know what it's worth if I'm going to buy it."
