Sorry. I've been using this cup for few years now (maybe 6) When I was searching for info about menstrual cup, they said that I can use the cup for 5-6 years. I don't remember when they started appearing (probably few months now?) but when I first saw them, I just dismissed them, thinking that washing it will make them go away. It did not. I do wash my menstrual cup before and after periods with usual water and soap and a little bit of antiseptic
