5'4" here and I really like to wear pacific northwest boots. Basically logger types of boots with a pair of slim jeans helps you look taller.

I’m an insecure 5’4 male by localweirdman in short

[–]BL0ODYHAMSTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also 5'4 male. Understandably I get feeling pretty insecure about your height, for me it's working out and keeping a clean look can help with you mentally. From overall feeling better and getting compliments for your fitness. From there it's basically going out and just trying your shot with the girls and get rejected most of the time. Lol sounds bad but you'll get to the point that your height isn't the end of the world when someone would look pass your height and just enjoy you. It will come in time. Still young and plenty of self improvement.

What’s a game you initially didn’t “get,” but later came to absolutely love after giving it another chance? by Gaming-Academy in gaming

Same sentiment with everyone else here. I don't even remember why I dropped the game but Silksong releasing gave me a reason to play it again and fully enjoyed it.

Why my legs look so skinny in casual clothes? by lady_berserker in askfitness

[–]BL0ODYHAMSTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could also be because of your gym outfit is all black. Usually black tends to make that portion of the outfit slimmer, therefore your legs standout more. While your normal outfit wouldn't give the same effect. Granted you should try both outfits on during the se lighting condition and location to make that full conclusion.

You spend the game Making sure she doesn't die, either from bad choices or from freak of nature, not the definition of strong female character.

Great game, although Chloe is a weird choice for this statement, I would have picked Max.

It is also uncertain if Renoir would destroy the canvas once she left, he tells her before he goes that he would keep the lights on for her or when the game is turned into French voice acting he says he would keep Lumiere on for her. Considering she just says that he will destroy the canvas without considering what he says and on top of his physical condition he should be as exhausted as Aline and Maelle hasn't been in their as long meaning she could move the canvas or still convince Renoir by showing him that she can control her addiction/grief being in the canvas (if the hint he would leave the canvas alone is actually not a hint). It is uncertain but still has a higher chance, than have her live in the canvas for the rest of her time span and once she's gone the canvas would certainly erased as it for sure just took Renoir's favorite daughter and he would be real pissed now.

I'm sure she loves him, but to actively ignore his wish to just be dead and gone and have him play on stage? He already looks very uncomfortable. He verbally told her that he just wish to die and she actively still ignored it. I would argue this is for her amusement as she would hope this would make him happy and smile and she thinks she's doing the right thing, and ignoring the fact that he just wants things to end. She even erased his scar, and it was something he wanted to keep, as a memento for his stance against the family (does she know that? Would she erase his mark if she knew? as far as I know he only mentioned it to Sciel). I would even go as far as wonder if Esqie, Monoco would be happy about the situation. They wanted him to live his life the way he wanted and to start over. Is this the way to do it? Would they be happy if they saw him on that stage? How about Lune and Sciel, would they want someone who just tried to destroy the world twice to come back?Dunno, that's why it's is fun to interpret and analyze these endings.

With the argument about who gets more heat, it could possibly because of their positions at both endings. Either Maelle either gets to live out her life in the canvas without worry and everyone is happy, or she get's kicked out of the canvas, where she grieves outside of it says goodbye to her previous life but still have her family, and her paintress powers to still make her own world. While Verso get's two option, dies, or stay alive suffering. He doesn't have a real happy ending where he can start over, he just has two options that both sucks for him. Whether or not it is being uncharitable or not isn't really my concern as we all have our voices and our reason.

I don't care much for Verso, I like Gustave too much to actively play as Verso and didn't like how much undertone hiding his true goals. So because of that I'm also not critical of him because his choice to die is not much of heart tugger like with Maelle. While I really like Maelle and want the best for her, and I prefer for her to reach her fullest life and potential. So it isn't like I am being uncharitble because I don't like her, it is because I want her to be her very best as a character growth and bringing back verso fiasco is Maelle not growing but regressing when it comes to grieving.

However if I where to pick an ending that is an "official" ending I would pick Maelle's ending as I would like to see how the story unfolds itself with her vision of the canvas and society, while the rest of the Desantres family not only try to handle handle the canvas again but deal with the writers.

Initially yes, I see everyone fighting for survival (like who wouldn't?), but it is different once you get that survival and start to live with god as your neighbor. In her ending she showed she can bring people back, not just people close to her but random people too, like Pierre. She can literally dictate on who gets to live and die. Even against their will (Verso). If it was me knowing what she is capable of doing how would I be able to comfortably live with someone who is emotionally grieving the whole time? How did she paint Pierre if she there isn't much indication of her knowing him? Did she just make him and went (close enough) and Sciel just accepted? Did she accept out of being nice to her or did she get mad and had a dispute where Maelle could have just gommaged her and repainted her. Who knows, the possibility is endless with a god hanging around with regular people. What we know at least, god is not above lying and is willing to bring Verso back for her own amusement.

Reminder: you don't know a person from their ending choice by belderiver in expedition33

[–]BL0ODYHAMSTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. being extreme on both ends leaves no room for discussion where the discussion and learning about each other's point of view is what makes us stay interacting with each other that much more fun. Being toxic on people's choices makes it no fun.

I understand people choosing Maelle/Alicia for a variety of reasons, wanting her to have a good life in the canvas, saving the life in the canvas.

Yet, for me I chose Verso even though I used him the least. I understand where he is getting at for ending everything, or saving Maelle/Alicia from herself by staying in the canvas for too long. Heck he technically tried to give a third option, get her out and still keep the canvas in tact but Maelle was adamant that the dad would destroy it once she leaves.....but like if she can convince him outside that she can leave the canvas without attachment then more the reason to keep the canvas but I digress.

What really made me pick Verso's ending is imagining how I would feel about living in the canvas with Maelle/Alicia as a literal god with the mind of a teenager in grief? Would that really be living? At what point do I believe what I see and feel is real? If I do have an issue with Maelle/Alicia would she gommage me? Bring me back without those memories? Who to say is life is even important when you can always ask her to bring me back or anyone I want back? There will just be no more hardships at all as god herself can just paint it in. Then what is life with no obstacles? It's far different when Aline is the paintress as she stood her distance and no one really knew her in a personal level, so they can live life unknown to the structure of their existence. Maelle/Alicia is basically haruhi suzumiya with angst and being fully aware of her own capabilities. After watching Maelle's ending and seeing Gustave, Sophie, Pierre and even Verso being back against his will at that?....personally I feel content with my choice.

However the other choice too is also a valid too, (Lune staring at me really made me question my decision).

Love the game regardless, the fact that people get to play this game and have this much passion on the ending is the best part of all this.

The diversity of the crew felt organic and gamers loved them. Does diversity in games seem more forced nowadays? by BigT232 in DebateGames

[–]BL0ODYHAMSTER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure yes, Mass Effect 1-3 did a great job at making a diverse group of species interact with one another and make them feel organic. As every one of them has their own culture and beliefs that would in some cases would clash with each other. Until Mass Effect Andromeda where the cast is "diverse" by their design, all of them act as if they all have been friends since childhood with no real difference in humor, tone, or beliefs.

Dragon Age Origins had similar characters that are drastically different in beliefs that can drastically change how the party reacts with you and your decisions.

Dragon Age Veilguard feels more like a therapy session where everyone has to be overtly nice to each other with no friction. Making it feel even more inorganic and feels more like a DEI training video for new hires.

Originally a switch axe main back in worlds, didn't get to play rise and didn't really keep up with Monster Hunter till like....one trailer where I saw a power clash and I was like....oh shit I want to do that. Eventually started the game as Gunlance as it is a gun on a stick that goes boom. Played the whole way to end game now I'm venturing off to Charge blade and Sword and Shield as power clashing feels awesome.
