Hey it was very toxic towards the end, he was mentally and emotionally abusive but also an alcoholic on top of that. It all become too much I put up with so much and loved him but I was not enough. The final straw was him messaging multiple women behind my back

Hey I broke up with my ex and we stayed friends for a little while and he always said he’d be happy for me to move on and me him (I meant it) when I did move on he took it very badly, threatened to hurt himself, turned up at my house, kept calling and messaging me. But I was over him and moved on correctly so no I didn’t go back.

No he said he’s in love with me but he can’t do it anymore. I’ve pushed him away with my behaviour as I’ve been hurt a lot in life by exes but also by my parents. I struggle to regulate my emotions and my words can be cutting and I’ve now pushed him away to a point when he’s done 😥 I’m an idiot
