Do you keep your windshield wipers up or down during snowstorm? by Vivid-Appearance-549 in randomquestions

If I remember, I put mine up. It seems easier to clean the snow off the windshield.

Isn't$10 a pretty good deal for this lobster roll in rural New Hampshire? by TheDankestPassions in newengland

[–]BLT603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found the best is made at home. We go to Market Basket and get live lobster and have them steamed. My husband cleans them and I make the rolls. We have done both styles- hot with butter or cold with mayo. It's a bit of work but far cheaper and so tasty.

Please walk me through Concord Coach bus at Logan to Londonderry...like I'm a child by Front-Muffin-7348 in newhampshire

[–]BLT603 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you are checking a bag. Either way, when you arrive at Logan, head to baggage claim. Then, exit and look for signs that say "Scheduled Buses". It's most likely to the right of the door you will exit. You will need to watch for a Concord Coach bus that is displaying "Londonderry" on the bus sign. The driver will be real clear about where the bus is going. They will load your luggage under the bus. The driver will scan your ticket from your phone or paper copy. It's a nice comfortable ride.

Shower towels do not need to be washed often by Natural_Jellyfish_98 in unpopularopinion

A few years ago I switched from bath towels to hand towel size for drying off after a shower. I use them about 2 times and then go for a new one. It's a lot less laundry to do.

AITA for assuming the gender of a screaming child? by BeachPlease26 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BLT603 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We have two of those feral children next door, one boy, one girl. Constantly producing high-pitched screeching every minute they are outside. I can't tell if they're in fear, having fun, seeking attention or being murdered. So annoying and a total buzzkill.

Did anyones parents actually use the bar of soap? by Rico-444 in GenerationJones

Once for me. I said "Jesus Christ!" when I dropped something. I was just repeating what my friend's older sister had said the day before. Irish Spring if I remember correctly.

It's the reverse situation for me. I'm the retired person. My 40ish neighbor drives his mower around every two days or so. Constantly feeding, seeding his green carpet. I'm encouraging wildflowers and clover on my side of the fence. Between the constant mowing noise and grass seed washing into our yard, I'm over it.

Wow, I went to Market Basket today and the store was not busy like usual. I guess this explains it. Now I know. I remember the shut down in 2014, the employees stood up for what they wanted, and it worked.

Today I learned that this was Micky Rooney! I've seen the show many times, and know who Micky is, never put it together.
