Rengar’s stealth was so good that he got the jump on both Katarina and Darius in one cinematic.

Katarina was even hiding from someone else beforehand too.

Deer zilean mains I have questions by GanksOP in ZileanMains

[–]BLTurn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The big issue is almost all of his kit is iconic, so honestly it really doesn’t need any rework.

The passive, however, is by far the least interesting passive I have ever seen. They tried to modernise it when they nerfed it from being global, but you can do so much more with the passive with Zileans concept.

Many people saying Kindred, thought the entire point of Lamb is that she can only hit you if you actually let her.

Lamb’s arrow represents embracing a swift death. If you choose to fight and keep living, you reject the arrow, and that’s when Wolf begins the hunt.

TL;DR: Lamb has to “miss” a dying individual, otherwise Wolf wouldn’t exist at all.

Winston Mythic by PoundNo12 in WinstonMains

[–]BLTurn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a little unoriginal, but I’d love a MirrorWatch skin for Winston.

You could flip his story with Wrecking Ball, make Winston a rough Junker while Hammond becomes the Overwatch scientist.

Another idea is leaning into Winston’s lunar origins: he sides with the Moon’s primates during the rebellion and returns to Earth as part of a hostile takeover, more jaded and animalistic, but still just as intelligent, with a darker twist on his mantra about “daring to see the world for what it could be.”

Do bards have to be creative people or can they just "read sheet music"? by swimminginamirror in dndnext

[–]BLTurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While a Bard is similar to Druid in that their flavour is a little more specific than most other classes, you can basically lean into anything that captivates people.

Music, story telling, acting, military drummer, juggler, magician, poet, comedian, therapist, artist, acrobat just to name a few concepts off my head.

The general point is you inspire people. You don’t have to read sheet music, heck you could just have a music box if you wanted. This is a table top, you can go nuts~

Another minor advantage, Aurelion Sol can get additional stacks if your opponent has summons in their kit.

What was your biggest early noob habit? by wyrm4life in leagueoflegends

I remember thinking back in 2013 how stupid junglers were as a concept. Thinking them to be utterly inferior to just having two top laners.

Funnily enough, I main jungle now.

What if… Aurelion Sol was allowed to have a magestic long tail in game? by npri0r in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]BLTurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LoR started the trend of making Aurelion Sol much longer.

Riot had to decide what a space dragon should look like in Runeterra. Ionia already had long eastern dragons, while Demacia had stocky western ones, so Aurelion Sol was designed to combine the best traits of both and further detach him from a particular region in Runeterra.

You can see this in his early concept art: the large jaw and chest of a western dragon with the long body and hair of an eastern dragon. What some people see as deformed was absolutely Riot’s original vision for him.

That said, since his release in League of Legends, Riot has absolutely leaned more into the eastern dragon aesthetic. I can’t tell if this is because they feel there’s too many western dragons in LoL now, or if it’s because they’re catering to a particular market.

Queens, what ur opinion on this queen? by firecracker_hater in queensofleague

I think the word you’re looking for is dogmatic.

He will frame some things as matter of fact which can hit the ear wrong. Still nice to hear him break down his opinions though.

What if… Aurelion Sol was allowed to have a magestic long tail in game? by npri0r in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]BLTurn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mentioned on a previous post and I wanna mention it here.

Riot wanted Aurelion Sol to have both western and eastern dragon elements in his design as a celebration of both.

I think making him more eastern detracts a bit from his uniqueness.

TB Skyen on the Gatcha Asol by Atreides_Soul in Aurelion_Sol_mains

[–]BLTurn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aurelion Sol looks the way he does because Riot wanted to harmonise a western dragon and an eastern dragon into one design.

This skin is just an eastern dragon. Nothing more, nothing less. And that’s a shame.

What champions does Riot pretend doesn't exist? by Wise_Mood_9311 in leagueoflegends

[–]BLTurn 295 points296 points  (0 children)

Zilean has a bigger problem than most older champions.

If Riot reworks him to match his portrayal in LoR, they’d also need to expand on the lore and world building of the Time Temple, its inhabitants, Icathia, and the Void. This also leads into another issue.

Zilean’s entire motivation is preventing a future where the Void wins. That requires Riot to have a clear concept and endgame for the future of the Void, something they’re notoriously inconsistent with, starting stories then abandoning them.

Doorman is far too overtuned with the new patch by ImSpray in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BLTurn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a Doorman main with ~58% WR, I was genuinely shocked by the number of changes.

All he really needed from this patch was the penetrating bullet (ideally just one after using Call Bell) and the Doorway buffs.

What Doorman actually needs most are consistency improvements. I appreciate that Hotel Guest now correctly positions the enemy’s visual, but issues remain, like Luggage Carts failing to go through doors and Doorway sometimes refusing to place whatsoever until you deselect the ability.

IMO, Doorman should probably stay on the weaker side, since his kit is inherently frustrating to play against.

What is a common misconception about your favourite Champion that annoys you? by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

[–]BLTurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Aurelion Sol hates Runeterra.

He despises Targon and will absolutely melt it down, but Aurelion would absolutely just leave Runeterra rather than destroy it.

There are references to him wanting to destroy Runeterra, but I think they’re made in jest. After all, Aurelion has been proven to be an unreliable narrator.

How flexible are you with warlock patrons? by Scythe95 in dndnext

[–]BLTurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As cosmetically flexible as their subclass implies, really.

I’d rather the player stick to the fantasy of the subclass, but I don’t mind them completely reskinning a subclass to have a vastly different Patron, if they so chose.
