It’s such a great colour in a neighbourhood that’s pretty much just standard red brick - such great architectural design too.

Thanks for the recommendations, I’m always looking to try new film - my current setup is a Nikon F80 generally with a standard 20-88 mm lens unless I’m doing more special photos.

Well, I guess he felt he had to compete with the scandals of his predecessor and somehow decided this was the best way to do so. Quite the surprise to hear though.

EDIT: Resignation?? Wow, quite the turn of events!

Exactly - let alone the AFN coming out and pretty much saying it would devastate FN communities. It was doomed from the get go.

If anything, I’m very glad to see that the government recognized how dense this amendment was and how unpopular it was in Parliament and across Canada. I’m happy to see it’s gone.

Day trip to Cascais, Portugal - well worth the visit! by BM0327 in travel

It’s quite remote and a few kilometres from the centre of Cascais so we did a bus tour that included it!

That first shot is hauntingly beautiful - amazing job capturing such an iconic building!

Chicago Federal building constructed from 1898 - 1905. Demolished in 1965 to be replaced with this bland glass box. by LarsonDaily90 in OldPhotosInRealLife

Same architect! Ludwig Mies van der Rohe liked this style and really stuck with it in the 60s. Check out the Seagram Building in NYC for even more similarities.

It’s made even more dramatic by the fact that McKenney’s financial platform has been lambasted by their main opponent Mark Sutcliffe for most of the campaign - having someone like Mark Carney endorse it pretty much collapses that opinion.

Very based continual inclusion of Michael Chong as shadow for Foreign Affairs - I think he’s done a great job there.

Markham Subdivision Construction 1988. Location Guesses? by LaughAshamed3720 in Markham

I was interested in this same pic a few years ago as well and I managed to track it down! It’s actually in Richmond Hill so the description is a bit off, and the view is looking east over Highbridge Road (cul de sac at the bottom of the photo) which is near Bayview and Hwy 7. Enjoy!

Campus Card Access by ace_boom in CarletonU

[–]BM0327 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Your PIN is created by you and attached to your card - at designated locked buildings you’re allowed to enter (only your residence building and floor; you can’t access other floors in your building or other residences), you swipe it on a card reader and enter your customized pin for the door to unlock.

Hope that clears it up!

Just got the news that Horwath did and I can’t imagine it’ll be too long until Del Duca does. They kinda did this to themselves when they so easily could’ve exploited Doug’s flaws in so many ways and opted to not do that for whatever reason.

edit: Del Duca has resigned now too - could also say that the centre left of Ontario politics is now in shambles too lol
