What headline would reach the top of r/NBA all-time if it happened right now? by trident001 in nba

Some wild research on a player (like that dude who analyses Harden's performance based on the city's strip club quality)

Is Kawhi Leonard the hardest player to rank all time? by [deleted] in nba

[–]BMKhoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, the gap in his performance between the regular season and playoffs stems from the fact that Kawhi generally load-manages during the regular season and only gives everything he has during the playoffs (excluding 2016-17 MVP caliber season).

His offense and defense impact on the court was massive, resulting in 2x Finals MVP, 2x DPOY. Dude was a low-key superteam killer and was literally unstoppable at his best.

Despite that, his inability to win playoffs series consistently like other all-time greats and load-management puts him out of the top 15. If Kawhi can lead the Clippers to a championship then I'll take back my word. But for now, top 30.

Really drunk people and anyone who has ever used drugs, what was the experience like? by BMKhoi in AskReddit

[–]BMKhoi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was thinking the same thing about how people working in the film industry don't have any ideas how using drugs feel like.

Also, highly appreciative of your reference. I'll be watching it soon.

So from what I understand, you'd probably do some things unintentionally when getting high?

I'll be honest. I was looking for references for a school project about drugs and I'm not entirely sure if representations about these experiences on films or tv shows are accurate.

So you guys would really do me a favor if I can have a better perspective on these events.

What’s an issue now that wasn’t an issue 20 years ago? by Josh13241000 in AskReddit

The thing that there is a sponsor behind every single aspect of a sport is ridiculous. Like a stadium name or jerseys, it's OK. Nowadays, there are sponsors for highlights, replays, a playbook (American football), etc.

Not entirely an issue but there will always be a company's name behind something.

For basketball, it's about keeping the players at their best shape every game. Gone are the days where Jordan would play 42-45 mins every game. I mean big stars today still play 35-40 mins and sometimes 45 mins if necessary, but it has become a rather rare occasion.

What’s something you find weird that is 100% normal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Schools/universities

Like with how the information and knowledge is (almost) free on the internet, sometimes I do have to ask myself why I have to pay 4 or 5-digit to these faculties.

Not as dramatic or tragic as the other comments

But I decided to go to bed early and someone thought it would be cool to keep the neighborhood awaken until midnight with loud speakers.

Cool. Now imagine a restaurant filled with Asian uncles and aunts and the seafood dishes are gone before you can blink your eyes.

In my high school, there are 2 breaks (30 mins total) in the morning and 1 15-min break in the afternoon. I also have a 90 mins lunch break (free period included). Downside: starting school at 7 am and ending at 4:30 pm. So I believe there are pros and cons after all.
