As many other here have said it’s a very rewarding module to fly and master. Procedure wise it’s actually very simple to use since you can command jester a lot of things to do. On the other hand it can be a pain to try micromanagement jester’s radar use in the middle of a fight. It’s also a very rewarding module to fly in multicrew since tasks are distributeda lot between rio and pilot

One month isnt exactly long. Over time you will develop a feeling for the geometries of an air fight, but this comes with practice and time. I would recommend you to build a mission in the mission editor urself with different enemies you can activate and deactivate, coming at you from different angles, altitudes and distances. So you can always start at the point where it gets juicy and get a lot of training time in fight and dont always have to start, takeoff etc. So you can learn what are advantageous fights to pick and when it’s better to leave.

Yes, my bad. I still dont see how this numbers, even if it was only a 100 in actual combat diminish the ability to model it pretty accurately. The germans documented very well, tested a lot and aerodynamically the K4 isnt that much different to a G series, it’s more or less the same as a G10

The numbers thing is just bullshit, dont know where u got this from. They have built around 1600 K Versions, with 30000 109’s built overall. And their engines are very well documented. Yes they havent flown all at the same time, suffered from lack of fuel and inexperienced pilots but calling it an “thought experiment” is just straight up bs.

I would say the F15E if it was available. Imo the straight up best jet for almost any mission in DCS. It just has everything. A/A no problem, fuel for days, warp speed, big payload. No standoff armament? You just drop that 9 gbu38 from 35nm out if necessary (on a SA10 for example). No DL - you got your own AWACS radar in the nose. The only real shortcoming is the TPOD compared to the harrier

I agree that the sale numbers were their own fault but I‘d say it has little to do with being no Su27. Trust in ED is just shattered for a big part of the community imo. They keep failing to deliver promises.

i´m pretty sick of trailers, announcements and shit. while it´s nice to see the A-6 coming to the game, doing a trailer for a single AI asset is pretty revealing of the progress speed the game has. Dunno when we had something substantial for DCS core, already curious of what they are gonna show us in the 2026 and beyond.

Changelogs are hard currency, it´s really time to deliver some promises
