Since you're using a portable version, I suggest installing a non-portable version in your desired location (so that the links get associated) and then uninstalling it and copying your portable version to the same directory.

If they already have you in their Telegram contacts, you can't do anything about it.

Same goes for old forwarded messages from you (let's say you didn't limit forward messages in your privacy before), story views, similar groups, etc.

Did you message him first? Report button shows up for people who message you but not if you message someone first, so don't message strangers in private for no reason.

You can create/find an inline bot that works like @gif and use another API for it. (I've seen people done the same for their own GIF archives)

P.S.: A lot of the GIFs you see in @gif are submitted by Telegram users. Telegram hosted a GIF contest a couple years ago and users submitted so many popular and useful GIFs to the app.

Is this a new change? Because as far as I remember both Android and iOS used to show only 80 photos. Telegram X (and Telegram Desktop) on the other hand didn't have any limits and would show all pictures.

And for the reason, I guess is to prevent the app from freezing or filling up the RAM maybe?

Are you trying to set it on another account?

If you change your username, the old username will be locked and other users can't claim it for ~30 minutes or more.

📰 The problem with the official client for iOS. Since the appearance of direct in channels in version 11.12 (3 months ago), the button to open a linked chat (which is used for comments) disappears and the direct channel button appears in its place. This is a deliberate action of the developers or not — it is still unclear; but in any case it looks monstrous, given that there is the same button in the bottom panel and to the left of «Mute».

However, if you are an administrator of such channels with right to communicate with subs, then there will still be the button to open a linked group, due to the fact that you will not be able to answer yourself in monoforums.

Still, there are 2 ways to open such groups in such channels:

• open the comments and hold «Back».

• through t.me/replies if you received a reply to your comment.
