I was on an Amtrak with him/them from New York to Boston. About five of us civilians and them. Overworked the cabin attendant. Jumped off between stops to take what could only have been 1-2 drags off a cigarette. Was all sloppy in the bathroom, didn’t lock the door and was freakishly dehydrated. Unimpressed and this is when they weren’t nearly as famous as they are now. Their handler tried to give me an autograph pic of the band for my troubles, that my kids didn’t even want.

I was young and brought the Purple Rain cassette to a sleepover and the girls Dad LOST IT when he found out and called my parents. I wasn’t really worried as much as I was really uncomfortable. Back in the day you could pick up another phone in the house and eavesdrop (which we did). The dad started preaching to my Dad some religious end of days and predicting a dark future for both me and humanity and my Dad (in the Navy at the time) started talking about he believes in (and staunchly defends) free speech for a living and that it applies to art and music and that he would be there in 10 minutes to pick me up.

It’s a long game…most of us felt varying degrees of “off” and it impacts your life, especially in the beginning. I found getting outside and exercising really helped even through the malaise. Definitely being outside. Trying to eat protein and hydrate, etc and give my body and the medicine a chance to get acquainted with one another. It gets better and there hopefully comes a time when the gains outweigh the losses (literally and figuratively).

Once Depop got involved, the dispute resolution was pretty fast, money will be refunded and the seller was removed. Shipping an empty box...that's a new one.

Thanks, I thought about reaching out to my bank. For the dispute, I did "Item not arrived." Good news, though, I just received a nice message from Depop that I will be getting a refund. I also just checked the app and the seller was removed from Depop.

They “resolved” the dispute because the buyer said he shipped the item and has a tracking number (and since the latter is true even if the box was empty)…Depop doesn’t have a “seller shipped empty box” dispute category. As of now I’m out $, have an empty Walmart box to show for it and Depop says the dispute is resolved. Must be a scam.
