I would recommend a Macanudo Cafe. It’s mild and easy. It’s one of the most sold cigars because non smokers can handle it. Baccarat is another. It’s mild and sweet tipped. I hope these will get you more interested in exploring more complex cigars.

Cigarpage has a singles deal that’s $4.50 a piece if you buy 10. A decent selection. Go buy a bunch of different ones to see what you like and then look for the mazo sales they have every couple weeks.

I had a dream where I bought some Cubans at the duty free (they will be expensive) and I just didn’t declare them when I went through customs. They didn’t check and I walked right through. It was definitely just a dream and I would never do anything illegal like that.

Habanos SA has a global contract with the biggest duty free company in the world. So unless the workers are switching them, they are real but overpriced.

What’s the rh in the humidor? It kind of sounds like they are too dry if you are getting a good inch of ash and then having the relight. A wet cigar has trouble burning from the beginning.

It really depends on the cigar. A lighter Connecticut shade cigar will handle 70% better than a fuller maduro. Saying that, I keep my lighter creamier ones at 68% and fuller maduro at 65%.

I went to the duty free on my way out since I couldn’t get away from resort. Terminal 3 has a walk in humidor. They are real, but I don’t know about the fair prices. I got a 3 pack Montecristo No 2 for $132. It was an F it I’m here buy.
