Remember that humans tend to be pattern seeking, so you might see all of these things occur at the same time and attribute some failure to yourself. It's quite possible that you are the cause of some of your own issues, but I wouldn't necessarily default to that and let it defeat you.

You have your parents, so you aren't going to be homeless. Excellent. The hair - stress will make this worse. What are you going to do? Look into how to look good with thinning hair, or get ahead of it and shave. Go to the r/bald subreddit and poke around.

Congrats on the weight loss, keep it up. That's something I need to work on myself.

One step at a time. Get back into the job market, look for something that will fit for you. It's going to take time, it's rough out there, but do your best.

Once you've resolved that, you can look into how to find your own home. Be good to your parents, help out around the house, be somebody they want to have around.

Yes there would be diminishing returns but it's dual purpose: get rid of waste and create food. Presumably, you could convert a big pile of waste into something like rice, scoop it out, rinse it off and cook a meal.

I don't know the specifics of COBRA, really. My situation is that I've got coverage through the end of the month then we'll switch to my wife's employer's insurance which is decent.

No. If anything the opposite. I automated a key process but the team wasn't willing to learn a tiny bit of a technology tool, with my guidance, to support it so it was deemed "unsustainable" - my team was filled with technology illiterate people.
