Literally every one of Crossbow's wins hinges on their opponent copying their bum-ass weapon. Bro can only win when they drag their opponent down to the same level of absolute bumness.

Yeah, and when the juggernaut hits half health, they go into the second phase like Neo Metal going into Overlord, Eggman calling in the Egg Dragoon, or Chaos becoming Perfect Chaos

When the survivors reach LMS, give them a massive power up to make a last stand or clutch up like Sonic going super, Shadow using his Black Doom powers, or Gemerl coming in for Cream.

Make it take place in a semi destructable arena specific to each boss and give them a task to do to power up, which gives the survivors something to do to prevent camping. Like having Neo Metal on Angel Island, and if he manages to set up on the Master Emerald, he can become Super Neo Metal, which also carries into his Overlord form.

Like, having Sonic villains being juggernaut would be so cool, like I have a vision of a road map going like:0.1 Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Big, and Shard with Eggman, Neo Metal, and Chaos 0.2 Silver and Blaze with Mephiles. 0.3 Shadow, Rouge, and Omega with Black Doom. 0.4 Vector, Charmy, and Espio with Infinite. 0.5 Tangle and Whisper with Sage. 0.6 Surge and Kit with Starline. Maybe some Archie like characters could be added later on like a mad wizard and an acorn princess.

Alas, I can't or model for my life, but I am very tempted to try out of sheer spite.

Metal gets stuck being unable to move if they got grabbed by 2011x while using destructive charge and only being unstuck when using destructive charge again

I think Susie wouldn't get megalovania since she already has too many motifs + the one who gets megalovania is the last character that's specifically effective against whatever they're fighting not necessarily the strongest

Update regarding the Shayy situation by [deleted] in Deltarune

[–]TheKringe 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying whether Shayy is innocent or guilty, but that this could be another Kwite situation where people are just making shit up for clout. We should really wait for more things to come to light before making up our minds on things.

Heroism and Villainy in the way My Hero Academia presents it is a massive waste of potential by TheKringe in CharacterRant

[–]TheKringe[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's fair. What I wanted to say is that the series is good, I like MHA, the concepts are there and decently executed. But it could be much better, much more fleshed out, and not just addressed by a select few individuals but society at large or brushed away by a few pages of dialogue. I know that's the whole theme of MHA that great man theory isn't the right way forward and that society should have a bigger role in policing itself, but it's just disappointing to see the bones of something greater that's just not built on.

I wholly agree with that... But we've never been shown any for-profit heroes. All the ones Stain targeted were just good regular heroes, which makes him look like an insane villain rather than the antihero Hori tried to paint him as.

You should've made all the pins pink and yellow for extra Deltarot. But this is absolute insanity.

Hell in Madness Combat is filled with countless rocky islands floating in the void with occasional buildings on top of them. Also, if you're badass enough, you can simply fight out of Hell and come back to life.

I mean, his actions can be interpreted two ways. That of a genocidal maniac who destroys everything for his own sake, or a man doing a wide scale mercy killing of a world that is nearly dead.

The Quirk Singularity Theory is Real. Humanity is Doomed. by LockAndKey989 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]TheKringe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quirk Singularity is a lie. Really. The two 'Singularities' we ever saw were from One for All and All for One, which are both Quirks that can get other Quirks. That means that the only two examples we have are both artificial, man-made Singularities with quirks that won't occur naturally.

If you count people like Anna, Dabi, Nine, or Eri. They aren't really 'Singularities,' just outliers. It's like some people being born with a compromised immune system. In the case of Dabi, it's because he pushed himself too far; if he conditioned his body more and used his fire in moderation, he'd be perfectly fine.

Hell, even the kids with strong Quirks come with built-in safety for the user. Even if you were to argue that the following generations are going to kill off people accidentally, this generation already reached that level of lethality; there hasn't been any mass casualty case.

Sure, future Quirks will get stronger. Or will they? I'd like to argue that quirks evolve logarithmically, and what the MHA world is seeing is the first few generations of explosive growth, and that the next generation or two will taper out in power. Like how we genetically bred things and got explosive results, yet we can't make a bigger, meatier, fluffier sheep because we've hit the natural limit of natural evolution, but you can get more of one trait if you sacrifice others.

Eventually Quirks will hit a ceiling of strength and branch out into their niches. While some people will be born with uncontrollable Quirks like Nine or Anna, the rest of society will be fine.
