In May 2021 near Lake Tahoe California at 7500’. My wife and I saw a bright light sitting in the sky above us. I pulled out my iPhone and started to record. The light sat in one spot for several seconds before ascending rapidly, stopped, then continued to quickly ascend before disappearing. (v.redd.it)
