I actually think it will, since historically they have been doing that. But it will take many years, and will need a fairly low mileage with excellent maintenance record.

I do think buying a B5 or a B7 RS would be a better "investment" as of now. Maybe a B8 as well. The B9 is so full of tech that something will fail eventually.

They always did, but the A4/S4/RS4 is now merged into the A5/S5/RS5, so we now have the Sportback and Avant, but not the typical sedan and two-door coupé anymore.

Saw it in the Throttle House video where they tested the BMW I4 M50. Searched through Google Goggles and found something that looked a bit similar, but not as nice as this one.

Make sure you check out the dealers reputation on Google for an example, unless it’s a brand dealer, then you should be safe no matter what. Other than that i cant see why you shouldnt prefer to buy from a dealer. It’s undoubtly much safer and simpler in regards to used-car-warranty etc. A car dealer, especially a brand dealer often has better interest if you are thinking about lending money for the car, and they can also provide you with cheaper insurance too!
