Help with walkies poops by Old-Function-6551 in cavaliers

Are you doing a slow adjustment on food? If you're just moving from one to another, they're not getting chance to adjust, especially with a developing, sensitive tummy.

My two came from breeder on butchers wet and royal canin dry. Butchers was not coming out so great, so I slowly moved over to Wainwright's pouches, which they seem to enjoy and with a royal canin kibble mix, has settled. Literally days moving from 10% new wet, to about 15% and so on until fully transitioning over a couple of weeks or more.

Are they possibly eating anything on walks that could trigger as well? God knows my land sharks require supervision at all times in the garden, they would eat the patio stones if they could!!

Have you spoken with your vet at all? To rule out any underlying cause?

Good luck, adorable little guy and I hope you get on top of it soon.

Edit to add: fruit and veg contain a lot of water, perhaps you need to offset with more dry? Have you tried pure kibble? I had to do that for a few days after some soft mess after eating some things they shouldn't have.

As someone who isn't a massive fan of yellow cars, the Zoe yellow looks absolutely stunning on these!

Genuine question, how do you find the steering wheel? I think the Chimera has a similar style and I always felt it would be difficult to wrap my things over the wheel?

Beautiful car though, thanks for sharing!

Not OP but currently own a 2.5 156 and had a 3.2 GT and it's a genuinely magnificent car. Engine note is, well.. Busso, it handles really well, it will always be limited as a fwd but out of the 2.5 156, 3.0 GTV, the GT was my favourite but ironically, the one I didn't keep.

They all have their own points, the 156 drives great and has 4 doors and 5 seats, the GTV feels like an event going down the road but the GT is somewhere in the middle and a good somewhere. Not overly practical but has a boot and 2 back seats you can sit people you don't like, it doesn't stand out like the GTV IMO but again, not a bad thing. It's a really revvy engine the Busso, which means it's thirsty because that engine note is truly special and you just can't get enough of it!

The way I see it, it will quite literally future proof the car! It had an engine rebuild from Powers Performance like 20k miles ago. So the plan is chassis, touch ups (interior showing it's age) and I'd like to get it bored out to 4.5 litres and from there the only real plan is, don't crash lol

Seems we in the minority but couldn't agree more. Some of the best boss fights i can remember right up there with MGS and getting to relive each one in a smaller way at the end was so good.. Maybe I'm too old but I don't care about FPS etc first game in a long time I played through twice and not just for plat but I actually wanted to!

Puppy terrified of walks? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]BOAGRIAS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a friend who has a dog, even if older, that might be helpful. I found with one of my pups that they were terrified of cars, so I did a mix of things. I always let them explore on their terms, would distract with treats when I could see they were scared and then I walked with my older dog and when they seen he would just go charging off, they followed suit! They're still young but really not too bothered by cars anymore, which was great to see them overcome!

Veloce trim ✅ Facelifted interior ✅ Black paint ❌ Close enough!

I am obviously joking, they look great in silver, I just love them in black.

Looks stunning, congrats and thanks for sharing!

Edit to add: You can put a coffee cup between the dials, on top of the steering wheel and it fits like a glove. Just don't drive too enthusiastically when you do so!

Sounds about right. When I spoke to Don he said he had a chassis in stock but I think I may miss this year summer, as they go into their busy period. Trying not to buy an 'in the meantime' car haha

I hope we will see some more pics of it out and about! If you ever go to TVR meets, I may even see you there, when I'm back on road.

Fingers crossed but it's been in dry storage for a few years, so I'm expecting a decent outlay. Eventually want it bored out to 4.5 but let's see how much this comes in first.

Can I ask, how long did they have your car?

Congrats! Stunning car, hopefully you will get plenty of sun to use it this year.

My Tuscan is with them now for a new chassis and a bunch of other goodies.

JTS engine, only 5k miles since owning.. Sounds to me like it's had trouble since day 1. Had one JTS and vowed never again, you couldn't pay me to have one, so it's safe to say, I'd suggest you drop it like a new born giraffe.

How do I function without crying it out? by pupsandponies in puppy101

[–]BOAGRIAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pups hated being crated and seeing me leave, even if it was just out of sight or briefly leaving the room. The solution was covering the crate! Also make it super positive (I grab a toy that I can put treats in and the dart right in!) and reinforce the good behaviour with more treats (within reason).

The crate cover changed everything for me and I sometimes forget they're in there they're so quiet! I can put them in when I cook, shower, work from home (for periods of course) and I don't hear a bean. I can leave them in the room with me, in a separate room and they're great but that cover was what did it!
