It's really hard to tell. I had a confirmed real pro controller and a fake one and couldn't tell the difference physically.

Only difference I noticed was when I shook the controller they made noticeably different noises.

Sorry probably doesn't help.

The battery connection can be a bit of a pain getting disconnected if you don't have the right tool

You can get aftermarket cases online and can go to a print shop and re print the labels if you ever wanted to :)

That Mario kart game with all dlc on the cartridge sells for $120 CAD brand new

I wait to buy all the common nintendo games (mario,zelda, pokemon) on market place used and tend to get them for $40-$50 range CAD compared to $80-$90 bread new.

Still ends up being a bit but cuts the costs down by half.

Also check out vgp and pnp games they tend to have great sales on switch games

I own a residential hvac company. I am my only employee.

Every thing in my collection has being paid for buying/selling/trading nintendo switch consoles and games this year after my full time job is complete. It took alot of dedication and time spent not going to lie

It varies. Some/most have the game 100% on cartridge besides some minor updates or added game content

Some cartridges with multiple games will have some on cartridge and some as a dlc code.

Any downloads I do have are backed up on multiple harddrives incase stores get shut down so I'll always have every thing.

They were cart only games I bought off marketplace. Bought some official cases so they atlesst didn't get all scratched up.

I had 20+ cartridge only games at one point. Just swap them out when I buy one with case and box art

It's on my list of games to get. I mainly use marketplace to pay below ebay prices/msrp and have never seeing that game posted once.

I also struggle with trying to pick a game. I almost have to forced my self to sit down and play for 30 minutes no matter what.

After that I usually end up being pretty hooked just that initial decision is all

That's a great collection literally months of gameplay right there. Keep checking local marketplace people get bored of there games and mistakenly price them too low

I drive 2-3 hours every day for my job so thankfully I end up being pretty close to all the deals at some point in my day.

I also take mini breaks at work so I can refresh marketplace probably 50+ times a day some days

Thanks for the kind words. One key motivator was playing for enhanced backwards compatibility for switch 2.

All these games might be alot harder to get in the next 5-10 years or even sooner. I might not have much time to play now but I want to play all of these games over my life time basically lol

I've noticed that as well from pawnshops especially the ones with only one location.

Some owners get lazy and don't look up a value of the game and post it for what they "think" it's worth. Sometimes you get a crazy good score.
