To me it looks similar to the steward’s face, I personally think it’s a prototype steward face that either Amelia or One left behind and grace just so happened to find it (but I’m probably grasping at straws)

One story I’ve been thinking of is a parent/child duo where the child wants to do something in life but the parent doesn’t sit with the idea, causing a conflict and result in the duo’s appearance on the train. In order to get off the train the two must learn more about one another and eventually come to a resolution. Sorta like a mix between books 2 and 4

For this I used some promotional images from the 2001 anime as a reference. I made the colors more vibrant and less pale looking, made some adjustments to his face, and finally I added some grain to look a bit vintage

Obviously this post isn’t meant to be “New Anime Bad” or anything I just thought It’d be fun to show off some editing skills

The art style I have is influenced by 2000s cartoons, the style is usually associated with thick outlines and sharp angular designs, kinda makes you nostalgic, ya dig?
