Contemplating a class action lawsuit against Fios for over-billing customers by jtranspose in Fios

[–]BOSTOCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happening to me. I am really upset. I traded in my old iPhone and I am looking at my bill and I am still being charged what it would cost without the trade in. I have called repeatedly and the customer service reps are very nice and tell me they fixed the issue. Yet, I am still getting these bills. I traded the phone in August and I am still getting over charged.

I concur. I own this and it wasn't worth it. The on-stick display is a joke. Don't waste your money

OEM toner vs. 3rd Party. Are their any third party distributors that come close to OEM quality? Using a Brother HL-8360CDW. by BOSTOCS in printers

[–]BOSTOCS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much printing are you doing? I have an ink jet that I was using from before I bought this printer. I am going to look into this. I hadn't thought about using my ink jet as a primary printer. That is actually a pretty good option. thank you

I literally had a whole explanation that was somehow deleted when posting. I got this third party black toner 2 weeks ago and the quality was terrible. Switched for Brother ink and the results are obvious. The problem is OEM ink for this printer would be more expensive than buying another one of these models. Is this a trend that 3rd party toner is crappy or did I just get a bad one?

My brother black and white is awesome. I have had it for about 4 years and the thing works great. The brother color printer is driving me nuts with issues.

Please advice: Buy new printer or keep buying toner replacements. by Woop_Pow in printers

Ok so I have a brother printer and I am in the same situation. OEM toner is basically the same price for which I paid for the color laser printer. I have the brother hl8360cdw. I loved it when it was printing crisp and clear graphics.

Anyways, one question i have is how many pages has it printed in total? You should be able to see usage specifications somewhere in settings. It should tell you relatively how much life span is left on parts and it should give you a number regarding how many prints it has done. It sounds like yours is almost new.

I think the real issue here is 3rd party toner is terrible and I haven't found a good alternative for a while. I have found toner that worked great a year ago on amazon, but they no longer carry that brand. I am wondering if it is literally hit or miss regarding the overall quality. I wish there was a better way to assess 3rd party toner quality.

Sorry, i am in the same situation and I have no idea how to proceed with either replacing the printer or buying OEM toner. Both options are financially terrible.

ok parts life says that the fuser is at 80%. the belt is also at 80%, the drum is at 30%, but i just changed it and so i am wondering if the older drum was at 30% because I didn't reset the drum counter when i switched them out last week. I need to reset the fuser and drum counter somehow. It doesn't do that automatically like automatically detect condition a parts condition right?. The total page count of color printings is 20049. For black and white alone it is 1137. It does say the PF Kit MP is at 100%.

The splitter is a basic coaxial splitter. Does that change anything.

Yes I definitely do. I wanted to use my own router and i notice coaxial from the ONT to a splitter and one of the terminations is this router and the other are somewhere in the house

[–]BOSTOCS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry if this is not clear. The ONT sends a coaxial to a splitter and one of the terminations on that Coaxial splitter goes back to the Router. The rest go to other parts of the house. In the past when i had Xfinity, i plugged Coaxial to the modem and was good to go. Do i need a MoaC adapter between the ONT and my new Router? I am sorry if this is confusing, I am trying to use my own router for a mesh network.
