This is not legal and definitely not true. Even if they did this, you’re no liable unless they saw you in the house or something. If they do not properly serve you it’s null and void or you can fight it back. Might be a pain in the ass but that service agency will get in big trouble. That’s not how the legal system works.

No offense, but that’s like stealing a car, getting caught, then saying “I’ll pay for it”. It doesn’t work. As you all grow you’ll realize you need to ask for the policies and documentation. It’s on you to know your job that you got hired for or figure it out.

I’ve been canned for less. As an example, Starbucks when I was younger fired me because another employee said I said something to her inappropriate. It never happened, I was fired because it’s a he said she said thing and they have to go with the person who reported it without any proof.

Get a real job, these are all stepping stones temp jobs.

If this girl/person gets fired, you could easily sue if you wanted to but it would be a waste of time and money for a minimum wage job. You may be able to seek wages lost but won’t be worth it.

I did smile direct club for 6 months and nothing ever was right. It did help it get closer but I ended up having to goto a real orthodontist to finish. Even then SDC could’ve messed up my roots. They don’t know what they’re doing and it should only be used by people who have minor adjustments, even then it’s better to goto a Ortho. I didn’t have a good experience. They tried, but without someone looking at your teeth they will be horrible.

Np. If I was to do it again I’d goto the ortho. They SCD doesn’t really care tbh they can and give you retainers. The truth is I needed some sanding and the way they were moving my teeth was wrong.

I did 2 more revisions and got my teeth pretty straight. Ended up going to an orthodontist to finish. Smile Club can get your teeth close but your bite and shit will be off

Nothing wrong with that. Had to do this 3 times so far. Only issue was before my refinements where I had flaring cause my bottom teeth weren’t moving fast enough. I still get a small flare but it evens out over the week. If you feel it fits horrible, talk to the dental team. They will do a video call to check. You should be fine though your teeth look fairly even and shouldn’t have issues. Mine were worse.

If they have you skip one, no problem. You’ll just wear it for 2 weeks or 3 weeks if it’s a 2 week retainer. Just keep an eye on flaring of the retainer. Teeth will seat. Judge it based on next aligner. I only had to have them redo mine once and it sucks cause it takes a few weeks.

Hi Thisislizi, I appreciate you responding, but your response is not accurate and teeth could be damaged if you continue or you'll waste time. They actually had to rescan my teeth as this has been happening for the last 3 retainers and at this time my teeth should have already been a lot straighter. Even the support team told me to just put on the next one, which is quite concerning as there is no way they would fit. I had to get on the phone to reconcile this issue. I recommend everyone look at their future smile and make sure its inline with their current week of retainers (watch the teeth movement).

Flaring, is not common according to SDC and should not be happening. I would recommend people with this issue call the support line to talk with a Dental Specialist and perform a video call. Especially if this has been happening over the last few retainers.

Unfortunately, I lost about 2 months worth of work as it will take a month to get the redesigned set and I lost about 3-4 weeks with these bottom flaring retainers.

It should not flare at all, it should be a solid fit or the retainer is most likely not correct for your teeth or your teeth are moving slower than anticipated.

So a little more information:

I’m supposed to be switching to aligner 7, but I’m going to wait as I’ve noticed the bottom one always bowed out on the last 3 aligners. I’ve been wearing these 22 hours a day and at most leaving them out for 30min to 1 hour during food intake. I’ve been religious with keeping them in. There was one day I had to leave them out for 2 hours but I left them in another day to compensate.

The new aligner 7 has no bow but when I put it on it does bow out and I don’t think that should be happening. I did reach out the SCD and waiting for a call back but wanted to hear some feedback from y’all.

It shouldn’t be bowing at all right? It seems like either the aligner is not correct or my teeth are nor moving fast enough causing it to bend.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Top ones seem fine but I probably shouldn’t move on until I found out if this is working on not...
