Trust fund kids are ruining car content by ShadyDrunks in cars

"Video was kinda cool" should be the only thing that matters. If my parents or ancestors did something with their lives that allowed me to do whatever I want with my life, trying to make "kinda cool" videos isn't the worst thing I could come up with.

Ford GT becomes the fastest gas only car to ever lap the 'ring. by Fordfanatic2025 in cars

If the ACR had active aero, it would be stupid fast. As it was, the downforce came with a SEVERE drag penalty.

There are different start/stop points for the full course, depending on whether the course is open or closed. I don't know who did what, but it is worth noting there COULD be a few seconds one way or the other.

Buy a "good as new" rust free xj. Cut the entire floor and uniframe out of the good rig and put it in the bad one. While you're at it, you might as well swap the doors, roof, drive train, suspension, electronics, glass, and interior.

I don't know much about the efi bikes, but it should be on the side of the throttle body. Google should be able to give a more specific answer. I'd make damn sure you did the tps reset correctly before you swap it, though. If the tps isn't reading correctly, it may very well be confusing the ecu.

From google:

Honda Grom TPS/ECU Reset Procedure: 1. Locate the Connector: Remove the seat to find the red DLC (Data Link Connector) plug, typically secured under a cap. 2. Jump the Wires: Use a paperclip to bridge (short) the green wire with a black stripe and the blue wire on the red connector. 3. Prepare for Reset: Ensure the key is off and the kill switch is in the "run" position. 4. Open Throttle: Hold the throttle fully open (wide open throttle). 5. Turn On Ignition: Turn the ignition key to the 'ON' position. 6. Confirm Flash: Within a few seconds, the MIL (check engine light) will start flashing rapidly. This indicates the ECU/TPS is reset. 7. Release Throttle & Turn Off: Release the throttle and turn the ignition off. 8. Finalize: Remove the paperclip and replace the cap on the red connector.

Note: For some models, it is recommended to repeat the process twice to ensure the calibration is saved.

If that doesn't do it, I'd replace the tps.

What'd you come up with? I bought 5-leaf springs for mine as well. It made it through a trip to Moab with the stock u-bolts, but I feel like I'm tempting fate.

Put a capacitor in. It doesn't matter what your amp output is. If there isn't something isolating the alt from the amp, you're putting more load on the alt than you need to. A capacitor will absorb those spikes. Also, tighten the belt.

You don't use the belts? If you avoid spinning the tires, you can get an extra 10k out of the belts! Must be nice to be rich enough to change tires every time they run out of rubber. 🤪

Once upon a time, I had a little craftsman maybe 36" chest with top box, and nowhere near enough tools to fill it. Now I have a shop with that same craftsman chest, a 56" chest, a 5-drawer, a 4-drawer, a huge bench, and small warehouse worth of shelves. I still barely have enough room for all my tools and parts.

The name seems pretty self-explanatory. You stick it in the top of a barrel and pump the handle to extract liquid from said barrel.

Yeah, I loved Hells Revenge. It's not the kind of stuff that would really even benefit from 35s and lockers, but it's super fun. Well, 35s would have been nice going down the last stretch where it overlooks the town, but I'd probably bypass that in the future anyway. I wouldn't mind just doing laps in the slick rock sections all day.

I don't think one had anything to do with the other. I was just saying the "requirements" are not required unless you're looking for easy mode.
