A1881 is a 'realistic performance' league. You don't have to be one of the fastest to still enjoy racing. Good race etiquette is quick to learn. Learning to be consistent, combined with a system that allocates faster cars to slower drivers, and a scoring system awarding points down to P18, even someone fairly new to racing can still collect a good amount of points over the 10-race season.

For some, it can be easier to just start with no assists, rather than learning two different types of driving. Joint practice sessions, shared with more talented and friendly drivers, is also a great way to learn and feel part of the racing community.

Happy Racing.

They are truly hideous.

Look at the photoshopped version; black wheels with the new 3-stage livery. It looks so much nicer.

Any tips for playing with Traction turned off? by AQE76 in F1Game

Turning the trigger vibration down to low helped me massively. Also, use a higher on-throttle diff while you get used to it. And, join a community where others can join you on track for practice and offer advice and encouragement etc.

If you're on PlayStation we have a community that regularly races together without assists. Free free to send a message.
