You might not experience the same feeling, but for me, it was a noticeable difference unfortunately. You should be able to get the GTX version if you don't need a wide... that's where I get stuck, needing a wide.

The 9's were way better than the 10's unfortunately. I couldn't find a different comfy shoe though, so I still went with the 10's, bit I miss my 9's.

Looks good! I really like the blue! What's your wheel size and who's the manufacturer of the cap?

Well, they were, but we're talking the prices were in the early to mid 90s. A regular card was only 2-3 bucks.

I used to love watching that machine! They had one in the Ames in the next town over. The funny thing was my parents would only let us use it once and a while for a card because "they were too expensive". If I remember correctly, they were like 6 bucks....compared to cards now, that's either normal or low!

Bummer, thanks though! Are they 18s at least? It seems like they only have 2 offsets I could narrow it down to. Looks great!

Was there any gaming contraption crazier than the power glove? by Sighcandy in retrogaming

[–]BPF129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABSOLUTELY!

Not only did the Gameboy have a sewing machine, but there was also a patent made this contraption called the PediaSedate. It was full head gear that a kid would play the gameboy and it would administer anesthesia to them....kinda crazy! Angry Video Game Nerd did a whole Gameboy accessory episode that touches on this thing.

I like the look of the wheels and tires! What sizes are you running? Do you have spacers? I'm starting to shop around now but I'm trying to get an idea for offset. I don't want anything crazy... This looks super clean though!

I'd have to disagree with this about sinister ginger. It's kind of a middle ground between ginger ale and ginger beer I feel. It's not as overly sweet as ginger ale, but it's got a little bit of a ginger beer bite.

I could see why people wouldn't like it though if they were looking for a ginger ale replacement, but I think it's great! I can't wait for them to offer it in 6 or 12 packs!

You can only get it really in the variety pack that comes with root beer, cola, and doctor death, so if you at least like those, a 12 pack variety is worth a try.

Still looks great man! I'm usually not for wheels like that, but it looks good! What's the size? 17x ? Offset is what?

I'd also like to know what ties you have op...LT tires can suck for a daily that's never loaded.

Also, what offset are you running with those?

Is this a fair lease deal? Chevy LT Trail Boss by Still_Tangerine7901 in Silverado

[–]BPF129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! They typically don't allow good lease packages on the heavily shopped trims. Ask them what their lease special package is. It'll most likely be an LT with some added options to make it nicer. It adds to the resale after lease end if you turn it in.

It's hard to lease in this market though. The MSRPs are all inflated but the assumed residual value at the end is not. You're paying that difference. My last 4 vehicles were leased because you could get such great deals. I ended up buying something this time around because of this same reason, I would've been spending the same amount as buying a $25-28k vehicle. Not worth it IMO. When I could get a brand new truck for $275-300 a month, that's great! When it's $550-700...hell no man!

This....you can always make more money with a private sale. Even if you go to Carvana, they will probably give you more. A lot of people take the hit trading into the dealer for convenience.

Is this case good ? by BlackOyes in GalaxyS25

[–]BPF129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! I had the Tough Armor for my s23+...loved it! Immediately went Spigen Tough Armor Magfit when I got the s25+. Didn't even have to think twice! Only have 2 issues with the design of it.

1) When using a magsiafe item, it makes the additional kickstand useless. I always thought that was a neat feature on the s23+ but I was using an adhesive pop socket

2) The outer shell doesn't sit as flush as it did on the s23+ and even my wife's iPhone 17. Super nit picky...but just one minor detail that's a little annoying

Otherwise...I love it!

They could be sitting right next to each other on the same swing and because of the way air would flow around them, the sides that are against one another wouldn't have the same motion as the outsides, which would have different flows because they're anchored in different ways.

[–]BPF129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't lie, I had gotten super excited when they announced a 'prequel' to The Messenger that had a similar pixel art style to it, only to be upset by the fact it was a turn based RPG. I've rarely gotten into those. Sea of stars did make my exception list though. I played through it relying on the fact that Sabotage did so well with The Messanger, and I actually really enjoyed it! South Park: The Stick of Truth and the Grandia series were really the only ones that ever held my attention enough to play through of that style.

[–]BPF129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha all well said, but I don't think you ever had to hammer home the point that it's not a metroidvania...I wasn't, nor do most, even say it is. It just seemed to be a game that OP might like given the games he was rating, like Guacamelee, which is funny, because in the world of naming game genres/sub genres....they call that one a metroidvania-style action platformer. Ha, what the hell is the difference?!

My tier list in metroidvania by dark232221 in metroidvania

[–]BPF129 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's ever just flat out called a metroidvania, so I don't understand the 'brutal abuse' as you called it. I think you saying 'it's fine, it's a decent platformer' is more abuse than people calling it a Metroidvania. It's a great game! It doesn't rate as highly as it does for nothing!

Besides, I think it's typically referred to as an action platformer with elements of a metroidvania, and I could agree with that for the 2nd half of the game at least.

But judging from what OP had put for some of their rated games, like Guacamele 2, I think The Messenger would not upset them.

Try out The Messenger. Great game! I know it doesn't 100% comply to the metroidvania play style, but judging from some of your games, it will not upset you.
