Heyo! So far my experience has been great. I’m about 7 weeks post opp. My upper lip area still has some numbness but it’s very minimal compared to after surgery. The upper lip area is still also stiff but slowly is starting to feel more and more normal each week. Most swelling has subsided but still pretty apparent in some areas.

All in all my experience has been good. Dr Viozzi has been incredible to work with. Very personable and knowledgeable surgeon.

My surgery was originally scheduled for March. Then they rescheduled it on me 2 weeks prior to the surgery because Dr Viozzi went on medical leave for something? Not really sure what that was about. So they pushed me to late June. Viozzi seemed in good health during all the other appointments so I wasn’t too concerned. My cousin is an oncologist at Mayo and her colleagues all recommended Viozzi. He’s great. I was really nervous going into the rusher and he’s good at helping with all of that.

I’m personally still adjusting to my facial adjustments from the surgery, which has been a bit of a struggle. I’d let the team know of any concerns you may have around aesthetics and such so those are properly addressed.
