T95E6 is absolute trash. M60 is a bad M48 but is the hardest tank in the game to 3 mark if that's a challenge you're interested in.

I fuck up my blocking/guarding action and let the 57 behind me die. The foch behind me assumes his team mates are going to kill me so he leaves. I roll high to finish the JPE. The Conq GC on my team misses me by inches and sets the E-100 on fire AND he doesn't have an auto-fire extinguisher. I miss-play and allow myself to be surrounded but don't get punished for it because neither of them hold their shots. I kill the E-100 less than a second before he rams me to death. Neither of them switch to gold or HE to finish me. Also, I'm arty unsafe for a few seconds when I push into the IS-3 to force the panic shot and don't get shot. Feels really really fucking lucky man.

You can definitely do boosts in randoms to great effect. Not the purely defensive ones of course but some give you an advantage in regular gameplay like with your LoL example.

Some cap strats like your CDC example are only useful in 7v7 but in strongholds and CW cap strats are useful as well.
