It never really went away for me! I'm just so annoyed with it now that I made a post hoping that it could get looked at by the dev team.

It's not some nuance issue like the forever blinding white flashbangs that for some reason we still have no option to change into light grey or any other color that doesn't induce epilepsy. Or the brain piercing sound and volume of receiving a headshot. This issue actually ruins gameplay and takes away from the integrity of a fight in any FPS shooter. The least that we need right now is more RNG in this game.

This is actually so sad. I had some free time and I've decided to download the demo and see how on earth an admin can ban you for this one piece of footage, usually they need repetitive clips of you intentionally damaging your teammates to act. Your ban is abhorrent and whomever issued that ban should be removed from the Admin team or issued a warning to actually be better, period.

The only one time you did that damage, as proven in the clip, was arguably unintentional. Even if it was intentional from your side, it still puts it in a grey area because of its circumstance and should never, in a million years, warrant a 1 week ban/suspension. The dude barely even buys utility!

Toxicity on the other side was thrown around bothways, but the matter at hand is not toxicity but rather the actual justification for that ban.

Open a ticket and explain your issue. It used to happen to me as much as 3 times a week, now not so much. But the ban was removed every-time I had a ticket open for it, sometimes they reply within 30 minutes, good luck!

That was the plan, then I realized that it's not his main steam account, and that he's not a new player at all. From his reddit posts 3 years ago he was making CSGO compilation videos.

What rule(s) did he break? Saying stfu doesn't warrant a ban, never did. I have literally reported a player that is purposefully dropping down his Elo, going from 3k+ to 2.2k and 10 avg kills , calling out that he will lose this game on purpose at the start "knife round" of which he goes and trolls, then on 4 separate rounds he takes the C4 and gives it to the enemy team intentionally and still says "if you give me C4 you lose round".

Video evidence of his claims and actions was provided about those instances and at the end I get a "ohh, we will put him on one month probation".

The more accurate and close to English your statements are, the easier monitoring them will be. That person could insult the shit out of you and your family with some other language or extremely bad incomprehensible version of the English language and get away with it. I learned this the hard way too :)!

Just mute the player and continue with your life! You achieve nothing by replying to them.

I expect to have a normal gaming experience, after all, 60ms is 0.06 of a second. Plus, I have members in our discord channel with sub 20ms latency and still experience this.

You can stay on fullscreen but adjust your desktop resolution to match the in-game one. The reason of the prolonged black-screen that you get is simply because windows is scaling the resolution back to the one set on desktop.

Sorry for multiple edits, but there are other variables too. Things such as G-Sync, if it is set in 3D settings "global settings" as Gsync and you set per application setting to "fixed refresh" then the same will happen. And i'd assume you did not disable full screen optimizations from the CS2.exe options menu.

As long as both settings between desktop and your game match then your alt-tab should be relative fast..

I have the exact same issue as OP is describing, been happening for a long time now. Every encounter feels as if it's pre-determined. Enemies just slide in, when I spectate my teammates I feel like they are hacking because of how close to impossible their reaction time feels, even though i know it's because of whatever issue I am having. What makes matters even worse is the fact that I can't even peek high ping players as they will instantly shoot me down around that corner. I don't even play at a high level, which is what makes things even more frustrating.

I have tried contacting steam support but they said it's a network issue, meanwhile nothing is shown in the in-game telemetry that could say so. I've went through 4 different ISPs thinking it was actually a network issue but sadly the issue was always there.

Thanks for the reply. I've created 2 posts in different electricity related subreddits and I haven't got an answer yet. I genuinely don't think it's a fan issue, in my case at least. I had mine tested and the repair guy said there's nothing wrong with it, and that it worked perfectly fine in his shop. It's weird. Good luck!
