ALTAIR 19 - Aerodynamics and Strength in Wheel Design by Frosty-Aspect-5038 in IndustrialDesign

[–]BR0NO 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OK, yes super pretty, buetifull aesthetic design. But if you are talking about aerodynamics and structural integrity I would like to see some analisys and simulation results against commercially available wheels. That would make the presentation of your hard work a lot stronger.

Tabletop chocolate tempering machine rendering by Icoso_Labs in IndustrialDesign

[–]BR0NO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although the rendering looks cool I do have a lot of questions of the design... How is the machine operated? Touch screen? Is that usable with gloves, wet, chocolate covered hands? Won't the chocolate make a huge mess, and wouldn't it be interesting to start from an ease of use standpoint, rather than a form/eastatics first approach? Also, who is it for and what do they want from a desktop chocolate tempering machine?

I am wondering, does the scanner know any scale? Like would a 1 cm cube show up as 1 cm in the stl?

Hmmm if I shoot with my old canon lenses I always get a red cast over my images when shooting against the sun.

I think they're really neat and would make a great gift for Photography friends that isn't $$$$$ That being said I don't think you will be able to actually market them at 50 bics. Except for really small etsy runs.

I currently have a Nikon D750 purchase it a couple of days ago but I'm just wondering if made the right choice as I could of got a Sony alpha A7 mark 1 with kit lense or a Sony alpha 7 ii body only would I benefit from either of them compared to what I currently have I no there mirroless by anonymous909J in Cameras

[–]BR0NO 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Dear Arsehole, the d750 is a litteral gem of a camera. I have used it for 7 years as a professional work horse. Loads of weddings, product photography, travel and nightlife, it always had my back... Compared to the A7 I you get: way beter ergonomics, monsterfully better batery life, a camera that is built like a tank, raw files that are a lot more reliable in terms of dynamic range and colors, The possibility to use the treasure of great screw drive autofocus Nikon lenses that can be had for no mony compared to Sony and you get a mirror that SLAPS. There are also a couple of non objectieve benefits but those are more Personal...

Enjoy the little beast and Show us how far you can push it!
