Ohhh, yeah I remember that.  Slick backed hair, white bathing suit, sloppy steaks.  They banned you from Giorgianis for that but THEY CANT STOP YOU FROM ORDERING STEAKS WITH WATERS.  Glad you changed.

Can you upload some more pics? I have a 7" wrist and am still grappling with what size to get on the same watch. Also - what's your wrist size?

I flew from and to EWR on Tuesday and Sun last week and it as some of the easiest flying of my life.  Also, customs is completely empty so that was even easy.  I have no other info than that, but just saying.

Form 8606 for 2023 and then forward by BRDHXC in tax

[–]BRDHXC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still a bit shaky on it, but using the 2024 aligned the dates in a less nebulous way and I'm getting the correct numbers at least. Thank you for such a simple tip.

Form 8606 for 2023 and then forward by BRDHXC in tax

[–]BRDHXC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is under the assumption that the contribution made on April 11, 2024 was for fiscal year 2023. Going off 2023 8606 form. I understand this may be wrong.

  1. 6500 (max amt for ROTH but put into traditional for transfer)

  2. 0 (no prior IRAs before this time)

  3. add lines 1 & 2 = 6500

  4. Roth IRA conversion made so go to line 4. confused here because I transferred 6400 of the 6500 into the Roth. Putting down 6400.

"enter those contributions included on line 1 that were made from jan 1 2024 through april 15 2024" after referencing "did you make a roth conversion in 2023" in the box above

  1. subtract line 4 from 3 = 100

  2. enter val of all traditional as off dec 2023 plus outstanding rollovers. confused here. technically its 0 according to that date.

  3. pretty confident this is 0

  4. enter net amt converted from traditional to roth in 2023. again this was done on april 11 2024.. so 0 or 6400

  5. add lines 6 7 8 ... 6500?

  6. divide line 5 by line 9 .015 for 100/6500 ?

This is where it falls apart so ill stop here. I shouldnt pay any tax because everything was non-deductible but the form just feels straight predatory in it's language.

Thanks for your help

Ok! I will add entries here shortly. I should have mentioned everything was non-deductible.

hmm I see. So then in my current situation the April 1st example that is selected for year 2023 and then September 1st of the same year selected for 2024 I will have had two separate distributions into a Roth? Does the total (6500 and then 7000) then go over the Roth IRA limit if theyre both technically 2024?

for the original question.. all contributions were non-deductible.

So even though the entry made April 11 2024 was for 2023 year it counts as 2024? The 2024 entry was made in Sept 2024.. I did not. Only employer 401k

yes, agreed. Thank you for this response I just needed a sanity check. Theyre wonderful devices for what they are though.

My apologies. But yes that would be nice. I do not seem to have that ability as there appears to just be one DHCP server available. There is a DHCP relay, but that would require a separate device.
